Why VAR not used for 67th min rugby tackle on mitrovic inside the box? Ref was shitty. My favorite ref so far eas Brasil vs Costa rica who caught divmar.. spot on. I think considering Serbia atrocities against Kosovo that karma hit them really hard where it hurts most..;)

Seriously, I'm not a fan of the Serbian team, but the Swiss defender holding the attacker down is CLEAR penalty. I can't understand why they don't use the VAR. Same with the tackle from Boateng against Berg yesterday.

SERBQI 1-2 ALBANIA.. you can not change your origin, they were born in Kosovo, they have Albanian blood and those serbs did a genocid against them forcing them to leave their country, but tonight they had the chance for a payback and they did it. PROUD. LAND OF EAGLES

I admit that the Swiss team has a more all-around style of play and more skilled technicians, but why not alowing Serbian theam to utilize their advantages? Our advantage is in physics and crosses, it's not our fault that some Swiss players are shorter. When we try to score, it's foul for them, almost every f****n time! And the biggest thing, a penalty! Hey, two people, one hugging Mitrovic, if that's not a penalty then...it must be a foul by an atacker yeah right. Swiss players simulating and our players getting the cards. Some were fouls I must say...yet the ref from Germany, which has ,,nothing'' in common with the neigbooring country of Switzerland. Regarding politics in this game, I will remain silent and smile.

Call me biased, I don't give a flying f**k! :)

Shaqiri the underrated player shows top players how it's done. If neymar was in his situation he would of tried to dribble but ball gets cleared, if messi was in his situation he would of hit it off target, if CR7 was in his situation he would of ran and dribbled around then curved it but goalkeeper saves it but Shaqiri does it in a classy way and finishes it but it's a popularity content huh he's so underrated.

and if it was Higuain, it would have been off the target and if it was Dybala, he would have done a fake shot then shoot it in the defenders foot. Should we keep going? :D

If this was Spongebob Squarepants, he would've chipped the ball over keeper and then do a backflip celebration.

Serbia vs Brazil will be a deciding match. Imagine if Brazil is knocked out of the 1st round. It would be a disaster !!!

And I laugh because that means you've reached your own conclusion post watching him in a one dimensional team who just get crosses into the box...in one game. He is one of the best up and coming box to box midfielders in europe who literally has every attribute to be a world class midfielder. He has two feet, has energy, power, guile, can dribble, scores goals and good in the air.

Hop Schweiz! Srbija's weakness ultimately was running out of legs. Literally had no energy in the last 35 minutes. Maybe too many elder statesmen. A bit strange seeing Milinkovic-Savic playing within himself for the national team. They've got one of the most talented players in the world, but their style is one dimensional....go to the wings and get crossed into Mitrovic. Ultimately, the more well rounded sided won.

Why don't they just play for Albania if that's where their heart is... no fuckin loyalty these days

Loyalty??? Well you should show appreciation to the country that made you who you are so I do not think it is wrong to play for a country you are born in or you lived in. Plus when they joined the Swiss international team, Albania was not participating in any competition.
