Lemar, Dembele, Thauvin, Martial and Coman.....and Deschamps puts matuidi on the left wing?
really nothing wrong with matuidi but is he serious? dont understand his tactics personally

Congratulations to France. Once again I thought Peru played well. That has to be qualified, though, as we can't score. So, if you can't score, then naturally you're going to lose most games. Overall, I think our soccer is on the rise, but we obviously need an attacking punch. I think Guerrero was the one who turned the ball over to Pogba for the French goal, so his inclusion didn't do much for us in this WC. Cueva was pretty quiet too. Still, we have played attractive soccer.

You really should ban the word "soccer" from your vocabulary...

This idiotic "soccer" meme will never die, I guess. Futbol. Football. Soccer. It's all the same. The Chinese have a completely different word, but I don't see that meme. I guess it's just an anti-American thing.

he was KANTE, it would go down as "irrelevant" because of the stars in this France team, but he was majestic in his tackles

Last time I saw France with a such strong squad was back in 1998 till 2006 and Only reason why team won things was because of incredibly strong leaders in the team. I look at this French team and I don’t see a strong leader and on top they have this manager who comes up with rediculous tactics that doesn’t help these talented players play to their best .

Deschamps is non a theses calm down... just a defensiv way a manage the team in perfect opposition with the attacking players france got

France played very well in the first half. 2nd was way more difficult but except that shot on the woodwork and Farfan's cross, Peru hadn't much opportunities

Croatian 8 years ago

Bayern Munich, Croatia 23 1323

Damn, what a way to get eliminated after being called a dark horse for entire tournament by tons of people. So sad for them, they deserved better, same as Morocco. Hope this isn't a fluke and that Peru can come back to future WCs strong. Good luck!

Morocco was waaaay better than Portugal.
France still had more clinical shots and felt like it was a balanced game.
Morocco game was just not fair, but that's how football is

I'm surprised that Peru haven't scored yet, they have had some bad luck till now. But it's not an easy group either. I'm guessing that they will get at least 1 goal against Australia.

Sandrito2 8 years ago

The stupid footyroom line up is always wrong. France didn't play 4-2-3-1 they played 4-3-3. Kante pogba and matuidi in central midfield. Giroud striker, griezmann left wing and mbappe right-wing
