morocco is the team that i enjoy watching. They lost both of their matches but they played better than opponents. And ronaldo not much to say about him. He looks like a creature that evolved for scoring. He just scores instinctively. just amazing

Pepe hasnt changed much in Turkey. Benatia taps him on the shoulder to get his attention and he falls down like hes been shot. And then gets up on his feet dramatizing the whole thing as if hes mad... smh

I feel gutted for Morocco. What a shit game by Portugal. Never thought I'd say this but what an awful team we have here. Couldn't string a couple of passes together. William Carvalho in midfield is atrocious. Gonçalo Guedes is useless. I hate Pepe's antics. If Fernando Santos doesn't do something about this lack of spirit we are heading towards a trashing somewhere down the line.

RONALDO!! I feel that this guy will be like Lebron James carrying his team for so long alone in the end to get knocked out by Golden State Warriors (A team thats a team not dependent on one man). Portugal overall team is not up to par to go far judging by their team performance against Morocco today.....

It's hard to support Ronaldo the way he keeps carrying on the field. It's like someone forgot to tell him about the team. I heard through the TV the crowd kept chanting Messi after he had scored. I'd do the same.

Morroco should be proud of their performance, only if they had a decent striker, They deserved a penalty too.

Portugal use handbrake, their performance downgrade to an average performance, but that was better that Morocco that didnt score in their a lot opportunities on goal. (5)

Pepe needs to be punished for diving. What a disgrace.

morocco deserved to lose! they played exactly like how united play! so much ball possession but no shot on goal! so much side to side and mid to back movement of ball! and they were stuck on the side lines instead of using the entire breadth of the field! no intent watsoeva! and sometimes all style and no substance! just like how united play!

The Ronaldo show! Love him or hate him, he delivers. The Portuguese squad give him the platform to shine, and doesn't he just. May seem impossible, but I hope Portugal win the trophy; if not only just to have a go at my friends that support Barca. Unlucky Morocco!

i know portugal speak the same language as brazillian, but do they need to dive like them as well ? mourinho was right about player from corner of europe (spain portugal) and south america were likely to dive .

DevilsAvacado 8 years ago

Brazilians speak Portuguese. Geography and history not your strongest subject ay!? It's all good! In a team there will always be a collection of players that favor diving - even English players

He's emphasizing the fact that it is the Brazilians who speak the Portuguese language and not the other way around. In the same way that you wouldn't say that the British speak the Americans' language.

neurop - nicely explained! Power to the people with common sense :-) Psst - I don't think Jokobi and his band of 8 challenged Barca brothers are cut from the same cloth. I'm such a meany!

joko... (meh, so bored of writing your name)... - in the words of the sweet virgin Mary; come again? "reading comments before responding to them not you strong suit eh?" You are literally talking to your own subconscious. Go with those pearls of wisdom :-|

Wednuf372 - Yes. I like him but him and Sterling spring to mind

even portugal had ronaldo they look like underdog in this game, morocco completely dominate the game, but maybe its part of team tactic by santos to play low effort to rest player, but in this world cup portugal only had 5 shots on target and score 4 of them, all by ronaldo, the most clinical team so far, england need 10 shots before score 1 goal lol.

oooooow there is a PK for Morocco the VAR ( video ) is used ONLY for Europeans ..France , Sweden etc .....!! SHAME ON YOU FIFA MAFIA !still proud of the moroccan team

ArsenalClub 8 years ago

Arsenal, Chile 0 2391

Stop being so salty. I can rebuke your claim by simply saying if VAR was ONLY for European teams then why did England not get 2 penalties against an African team (Tunisia)? Harry Kane was literally rugby tackled twice and got nothing. So there is obviously no bias there.

Chinzy95 8 years ago

Lmao what? Peru had a penalty given from VAR....

samaras 8 years ago

my opinion on the VAR is irrevocable the VAR Technology is not fair .... here is the analysis of the match Portugal-Morocco: a team without striker against a striker without a team!

Really cr7 man of the match ? did u even watched the whole game ! CR7 scored the only goal yes , but he didnt do anything else , Morocco did a great match but no luck !!

never underestimate stupid people with large group for example ronaldo and messi fan boys/girl, no matter how logical your word is u gonna get tone of dislike/downgrade .

DevilsAvacado 8 years ago

Real Madrid 0 601

Could it not be said that he who scores wins. Many quality players may not do much in a game, but they produce a moment of class. It's a result business and he got the winner. No goal, no win. You don't have to be a fan boy to acknowledge another perspective

Not very interesting game but Portugal got the vital three points
I actually think Portugal will do alot better than most people think this year (I know it was only Morocco ) but they seem a different side

Huh? they were completely outplayed against Morocco and profited off 2 rare mistakes from Spain.

Yeah, to be honest, i'm seldom watch others national team games, but Morocco was shocked me out, as i didnt notice their team played so well! but just lack of luck, their momentum and team play was even better than those popular national teams. Btw, Ronaldo is still good in header, but his team play ability was getting decline.

How to Pepe in real life: Boss pats you in the back softly telling you to work faster and you sue him.

Lambo91 8 years ago

Juventus, Italy 0 5196

The only player that plays football right now that can be a 1 man team and that is none other than CR7. Oh what will you do Portugal and Real Madrid when he retires what will you do.

Pretty much they’ll be clueless after he moves to juventus
