Bravo Russia! I know it's only S. Arabia, but I watched (not all, but many of) the pre-tournament friendlies they had & the main reason why they mainly draw and didn't win was because their execution was bad. They were great in the passes, played some truly good offensive & aggressive football, but despite the fact they were constantly creating numerous clean cut chances, they were simply failing to score. ONLY THAT THING changed today, and there it is - the result came!
Thus, I've a feeling if they continue to improve in this element in the match against Egypt, they'll win them easily as well, and surely go in the 2nd round!
Realistically speaking, Uruguay is a better team than Russia, but they could draw, especially if Uruguay makes mistakes and Russia goes tough on them!

I don’t understand why saudi player has no spirit at all in this game. They jogged around, made unconvincing passes, even when they trailed by 3 goals! Great game by Russia tho

Lots of pression because they play against the host in the opener, also the fact this propably the first world cup of many of these player. It was hard not to feel intimated and not make many mistake.

Russia can beat uruguay too if they play like this, not many nations perform well at cold Russia, especially nations from hot area like south america, middle east and africa, south american nations only won 1 time in europe(brazil in sweden 1958), and european only won 1 time too in south america (germany in brazil 2014).
