Not only I am human, I also have a brain of my own. Unlike "some xxxxxxg people" ((c) Thom Yorke) that blindly believe everything they read on the Internet.

In any case, what does this have to do with football?

Ventura is the worst coach weve ever had. This 424/442 formation he insists on playing is an abomination. All it does is waste and fail to ultilise the talents of our three best players (Insigne, Belotti and Verratti), The formation is rigid and easy to defend against. 343 or 433 would be the best way to play with the players at our disposal. Ventura has a defeatist attitude all the time. Why chose a coach who's never won anything in his life?? Ridiculous. Ventura out!!!!!

What a Shame of Ventura coach plan ..... Italy does not play of 4-4-2 plan since long time ... WTF

Ventura is obviously not a coach for a big club, or the great Italian national team! Unlike Conte, who wasn't giving chances to the young and creative players, he does that, but isn't using them properly! I hear many guys screaming they want Conte back, but if that's the case, you wouldn't have seen Insigne, or Bellotti, or many others in the first team, 'cause he only plays safe, and in a strict formation! However, on the other hand, Ventura doesn't know how to use some of the great players he has, like Verratti and Insigne, and get the best out of them, so I admit that Conte is better and more efficient.
But that's barking in the wind, 'cause Italy's stuck with him for the next World Cup (actually, till 2020 officially), so let's hope he'll start playing 4-3-3, or 3-4-3 and 3-5-2,

I totally agree with you ... Ventura is the wrong Coach for the Italian team after Spain big loss

Preaching to the choir. They need to find a middle ground between the youth of Ventura and the tactics of Conte.

I say this as Ventura was Torinos manager and now italys. He's great for medium size club but I'm not sure for the national team. Piss poor performance. Same system as before and we got lucky. 352 would be better and even I can't stand it. 4312 is best for our passing style but we have too many wide players. WE NEED A MIDFIELD THREE. Really hope this changes for the better.

I just wish we had Conte Back. He could make a team made up of players that people call laughing stalks and then pull out wins against Belgium and Spain. Ventura can't do that. Even with a decent team.

Cuore_Granata 9 years ago

Torino, Italy 3 745

I agree with you. We have the players to have a successful tournament, maybe quarterfinals if we are lucky semis might be too far. But we have poor coaching. Conte was great because he is a dictator and what he says goes. Ventura is trying to be like Prandelli. We all know how that went in Brazil.

Berardi is clearly snubbed by Italy, don't know why...

They say it's his poor attitude but I've been wondering the same thing for a couple seasons. The youth we do call up sits on the bench.
