THe only good thing for our team in this match is that Ristovski only proved that he is definitely going places - most likely this summer already. Either Sporting, or Bundesliga or Serie A! He'd grown into a great right back!
Other than that, a typical match for Macedonia - conceding naive and stupid goals, in the first half, and afterwards, everything's in vain. Pluys, in this case, we've had one of the Top 5 best teams in the world, so...It was only expected! That's why this is probably the first time Macedonia plays against a great team, and the stadium isn't full! They're constantly pathetic and don't deserve the support! What they had was more than enough! From now on, they should be happy if there are 5 000 people on the stadium!
Congratulations to Spain!

As usual, too much beating around the bush. Too much passing the ball around with no real intent. Need to play more direct if Spain wants to go far in the World Cup finals.

Yeah get ouf of that stupid Tiki-Taka possession based play. It's been beaten. Spain's golden years not long ago was thanks to the Barca system of play. I think RM's style would benefit their squad way more. Way more current, direct, yet holding possession in a smart/attacking way.

In itself, Tiki Taka means passing w purpose and technical ability. Its important that the players have the same positional know-how and technical ability to be able to pass the ball and create chances in the way that they want to. This was displayed by Barcelona under guardiola and in some games of zidanes real madrid, but Spain has never shown it. They pass the ball to create space and then rely on individual brilliance to score, which is not the correct way to play a possesion based style. It is annoying and i do hope they try to find their best style again.

Yeah Bestiainmunda I totally agree with that. Players have gotten older, so that system won't work the same. Plus other teams know how to play against that type of play. Lucky there is a lot of good spanish youth. But David Silva, Iniesta and co are all going soon. Playing for Spain shouldn't warrant the idea of tika-taka instantly. The manager should adapt to the change in the football World and apply it to the current team. So really, it's like using the best players you can and hoping they learn and fit into a system when most play in different countries and styles. The future of international football will be interesting.
