Youre saying it like a defender from Latvia is going to measure every cross perfectly. It's not easy to determine whether you can get to a cross or not because the ball rotation and the wind and many other factors are what make up the trajectory of the ball. He didnt know he wasnt going to get to that. He thought he could.
