Which club does Pedro Gallese play? He is magical!

Chinzy95 9 years ago

Arsenal, Peru 0 59

He plays for Veracruz in Mexico. What's even more magical is that he broke his finger last month and managed to make a comeback - just for this game.

@Chinzy95,
I wish Peru won this match so they wouldn't need to worry vs Colombia,because I want both Peru and Colombia to be qualified,but oh well...good luck to Peru,you guys deserve a WC qualification after such a long time

Chinzy95 9 years ago

Arsenal, Peru 0 59

@Mike988
Haha unfortunately life isn't so gracious but we still depend on ourselves which is a positive. But thank you very much! Always loved Romanian football - can't get any better than Hagi or Dobin

Mike988 9 years ago

Manchester United, Romania 0 150

@Chinzy95
clearly Hagi and Dobrin are our best ever players,Adrian Mutu was close to be like Hagi but...eh
you should take a look at our U21 team,we have some promising players like Puscas,Man,Coman,Marin,Nedelcu,Radu,Ianis Hagi and some more.Hopefully they will bring us some qualifications

@Mike988
Ahh the curse of the footballers. A great player Adrien Mutu but was more interested in the glamour of football and not the beauty of it. We have many of those in Peru. But I will keep an eye out for you guys for sure!

Sampaoli has achieved a lot with Chile, but how the f*** can you bench Dybala, especially at his current form...
Although we'd miss out on great players during the WC, hope Argentina don't qualify!

Chinzy95 9 years ago

Arsenal, Peru 0 59

He missed out after he said it was difficult to play with Messi because they play the same position. Also, Gago had to be replaced after he tore his ligaments unfortunately.

A lot of people are saying that it's more competitive, but if Argentina wins, it has a ticket for the World Cup. And if you look at the ratio of their game, they have what, 6 victories, 7 draws, 4 defeats, with only 16 goals scored. Some teams in Europe have a better ratio and don't get a ticket to the WC

Chinzy95 9 years ago

Arsenal, Peru 0 59

They have a better ratio because they play with easier teams/ more favorable scenarios. I agree to some extent but there's a lot that needs to be taken into account

ARGENTINA is Mercedez without engine. On paper they looks super, but on the pitch they can't put the ball into the net. It's a torture for the fans to watch. This team doesn't deserve to be in WC. Messi looks always sad, i don't know, he needs to uplift the mental strength of the team ,speak loud or give the armband to masche.

_Pelle_ 9 years ago

Paris Saint-Germain 161 6982

Very poor by Argentina with one of the best attacks (at least on the paper) to score the second least goals. This team should be spamming goals but instead can't even average one goal per game. Anyway, as a fan of football I really hope they will still qualify.

and Icardi! lol this is a joke

messi was involved in all Argentina's attempt either by passing or taking the chance himself except 2 shots from outside the box by L.biglia and MASCHERANO. that tells you where argentina's creativity lies. ON ONE MAN.

There are no excuses, not even for Messi. That team is loaded with offensive talent.

Dybala benched because of Messi, Messi can only play with Barca's style and strategy...So Argentina must adapt to Messi, but Argentina can't play with Barca's style. Fair Result.

you suggest to bench messi instead of dybala ? GTFO
did you atleast watch the highlights ? the messi is the only hope of argentina, he was the only one trying. thr line up in front of him is shit, di maria lost his form since leaving real madrid, who the fuck is benedetto why not play icardi instead and alejandro gomez that wasted so much

The injustice of football. Hang in there Messi. Good luck on your last qualification match, you're gonna need it. Get a grip Argentina!

Golazo111 9 years ago

Chelsea, Mexico 70 2607

Must win last game away for Argentina now, Messi just can't do much outside of Barcelona there needs to be less pressure on him but the rest of the team just too much scared, if only they still had Riquelme or Tevez that would take the pressure off Messi things would be easier.

I don't know why I was thinking the same. He shows an ability to be a very good golie? How old is he?

Bestiainmunda 9 years ago

Peruvian guy here. Hes really good but he is kind of old. Physically hes not big enough for the premier league. He would have double the problems Bravo had

Chinzy95 9 years ago

Arsenal, Peru 0 59

I agree with Bestiainmunda - not big enough for the premier league but a great shot stopper and relatively good with distribution. Maybe a step up from Karius haha

RSUyema 9 years ago

Barcelona, Argentina 0 370

This game is solid concrete proof that in big games for Argentina, Messi does perform and does HIS part for the team. I hope people have seen the light from this game. Dont dare say that Peru is a bad team because if you have watched this CONMEBOL WCQ, other than Brazil, Peru is playing by far the best football thanks to Gareca. People expect Messi to take on the whole defence and thread a through ball to himself and chip the goalkeeper. Ridiculous how much he gets shamed for the inability of his team mates.

Gago got injured after like 5 min on the field so they had to use their third sub on him. But yea it's very questionable why neither of them was on the starting lineup
