Well played Bilbao, but its revenge time. Not happy with the performence nor the injuries, but that 3pts are important, one dangerous away game done.

Sergio Roberto was impressive at his new position. He made some fine runs and at one point marginally away from making one of the best asisst of the year to Messi.

Sergi Roberto was vicious and made up for Alves. He had the remarkable speed and fitness of Dani, but with better attacking mentality (Alves is mostly random up front although still productive). He only needs experience if he can keep up the impressive performance of today.

sweet revenge!

Barca 11 years ago

Messi missed penalty and i felt very bad....his confidence went down and that was obvious in the free kicks he took there after....but who cares, he came back strong as ever in the dying moments of the game...he will prove in the coming days y he is the best...

The decision was absolutely incorrect. Hence, the safe from Irazoiz justifies decision.

He has a disease. So he's on quarantine

Shabba 11 years ago

He is back now, trained yesterday, but isnt match fit yet. More than likely he plays in the next match..

LolWut 11 years ago

It's unfortunate, but he got AIDS. All this time he was getting fucked by Puyol behind closed doors.

Sergi Roberto!!! Ok after today's performance I see no reason for Alves to start at least until Vidal is available and take that spot from Roberto. On the other hand though, I don't know if I would want to waste his talent at that position. But today he blew my mind away with his defending ability, because I already know what an attacking player he is. I hope Barca does everything to satisfy him and stay with the team for as long as possible.

Messi doesn't have to be MOTM every time. That's why Barca spends millions on other players also.

Mio of dollars? u r mixing up madrid w barca

golden-skiyy 11 years ago

@MadridKilla Neymar 95million Suarez 80million Turan 35million, just sayin

sasha 11 years ago

Ibra 70 mil, Villa 40 mil...

LolWut 11 years ago

@MadridKilla LOL, kiddo, you think that Barca buys those world-class players with pocket money? Wait a minute, yes of course my man, I am sorry, the club paid three dollars and one chewing gum for Suarez and Turan. The fact of the matter is, Barca spends a lot of money on players, and they would do so even marginally more if they were financially as well off as Real is.

Januzaj11 11 years ago

They have to if they want to compet with Real "Cash Money" Madrid ! But don't forget that they kicked Real Madrid ass with Messi Pedro Xavi Inesta Pique Puyol Valdes who all came from their youth academy...And as United fan I respect that ! Way more than Madrid and how they try to be succesful

M10 11 years ago

I'm not saying that Barcelona doesn't spend in the league of Real Madrid, but Real Madrid broke the world transfer record five times. And btw, Barcelona in season 2005-06 spent exactly 0£ and won La Liga and the Champions League.

Thiago 11 years ago

@LolWut are you retarded? Real spends at least 100m every transfers window.. Barca has had what 3 windows since 2008 that they spent 80m+. Idiot

LolWut 11 years ago

@Thiago say what?! 80 million since 2008?! That doesn't even cover the cost for Neymar's transfer! Thiago, my friend, s*ck my hairy balls.

So Messi was as terrible as Willian in this match eh? ;) This is what I meant yesterday you can't be always in form. Willian had at least some key passes.

tiki_taka 11 years ago

Barcelona, France 368 9770

You are clueless my friend, compare Messi who is man marked by both Balenciaga and De Marcos whole game and an average guy who misses tap ins and has 0 contribution while he has a highway in front of him. When Barça scored, Messi got a little more space and he instantly performed at his standarts. Dont compare the most marked player in the world to a player who performs each 3 months...

tiki_taka 11 years ago

Barcelona, France 368 9770

Let me explain you something, when Messi plays near Pedro, Pedro looks very weak. When Pedro plays near Willian, Willan looks very weak. Thats the difference.

AlexBatak 11 years ago

Chelsea, Italy 204 2707

What is worse? Missing a tap in where you have only 1 second or a penalty where there is nothing to bother you and have the time to just put it in the net? I'm not comparing Willian to Messi I'm showing you how sometimes it's wrong to judge a player from one game.

tiki_taka 11 years ago

Barcelona, France 368 9770

Im judging Willian since his arrival to Chelsea, already made my point on him, he misses too much to be considered a top player, he does bad decisions, his vision is limited, althought he is strong and fast. I prefer smart players who makes the diference, players like Willian, there is plenty in Ligue 1...

AlexBatak 11 years ago

Chelsea, Italy 204 2707

Willian's strength is not scoring. He is not a striker. He does everything that none of Barca players can do. Just saying.

mfharis 11 years ago

@AlexBatak: Messi comparing with Willian. Both Messi and Willian are laughing at you. see at your back they are there.
