poor performace by USA.

Good to see the USA pick up the win. I must say I was impressed with Honduras in the 2nd half. You can tell they are really well coached. Good to see Pinto remain in CONCACAF after leaving Costa Rica. I wish the Hondurans the best with Pinto.

Is it me, or is Honduras really f#*king good? I don't understand why their ranked 70th or whatever.. They were winning almost all the loose balls, incredible first touches, really nice passes and that finish! glad the US squeaked by

I was surprised when I saw that honduras was ranked 70 in the World. they made the 2014 World Cup. But FIFA Rankings don't always rank teams the way they really are. (romania is going to be 8 in the world, while wales is going to be 10.)

@Kevin and UKRFan Good points. I think the addition of Pinto on the sidelines will help them climb up the FIFA rankings to a more meritorious spot.

Its Jorge Pinto who's the manager for Honduras, the same guy who managed Costa Rica in the world cup 2014

caicedonian 11 years ago

Don't forget that the new coach for Honduras is Jorge Luis Pinto. He previously was coaching Costa Rica and did very well in the World Cup. This Honduras can be the runner-up of the tournament.

Ben 11 years ago

@caicedonian I agree, man. The Hondurans played some good football in the 2nd half. I think Pinto can def get the best out of that squad.

Excellent highlight video. Shows a lot of highlights in between the goals and most importantly doesn't show 1 minute of celebrations followed by 20 unnecessary replays for each and every goal.

poor performace by USA. they need to be better and klinsmann will make them better by the knockout stage
