Here's a different perspective. The premier league is a boring league where so many clubs have so much money, yet rarely make it far in the champion's league. The fans are too busy trying to convince themselves that their league is the most exciting instead of thinking about how the quality of english football seems to be getting worse. To be honest, I can't see any english teams winning the champions league ever again unless changes are made.

It all depends on what you think football is about. If you think teams that spend far more than Bayern but can't beat teams like Leicester is exciting, then sure, the premier league is thrilling. I love Bayern because of their consistency, which is something premier league teams don't have.

I sure hope Xavi Martinez will make it to the special clubs of "Players who totally fucked up their knee and missed an entire season but managed to remain on the highest level".
Looks like he's going to! Amazing and inspiring. I'm sure most Bayern fan's remember his part in the treble. I am dying to see the Messi-Martinez matchup again, after Messi suffered such a devastating loss last time.

...If only Wenger was smart enough to spend big money on a defensive player for once.

Had enough of ppl saying bundesliga is boring league. If that's true so you ppl got no right to say Bayern Munich had an easy way to win the league. They fought their way through every season. Bayern always won Bcoz it is a top class team. sometimes I wish just for one season we place Bayern in the GRAND EPL of yours. Let's just see how all the teams in EPL would shit in bricks of fear.

Obvious statement (with a reference to a Magic Johnson quote about Larry Bird): This Bayern team is so good it's frightening.

epl is overrated like english national team. but is bit more exciting and successful - ok. the nat.team won...mhhh...wc cup 66, then came nothing. german nat.team: 4x wc, 4x vice, 8x finals, 12x semifinals; 3x ec, 3x vice, 4x finals, 4x semifinals. where is the football at home?

EPL IS exciting to watch. how many leagues have you seen where a team like leicester can be #1 and chelsea #13th ish. This is exactly what football is about, about 20 or so teams competing to win the trophy not about only 3 or 4 teams and 16 random teams. So in my considerence EPL IS one of the most exciting leagues to watch eventhough they dont reach far in CL

Yes it is. It is like they are continuously distributed along the line. But for bundesliga we have a cluster with Bayern label. I think that if you put Bayern in EPL, then by the current condition of the other teams Bayern would easily be the champs. Situation in France is even worse. But in Spain it is tolerable. All in all, what I mean is there is not much competition in a competition for the first place. But still if you enjoy football as it is, players of Bayern will show you a real masterclass.

the two strongest teams world wide are both run by ex-barca players of the same era... coincidence?
0
Alex 11 years ago
that is just a load of b.s.

Bayern was WAYYYYY too stronger than what it is under the "ex-barca" player. Stop grabbing to credit every corner you turn. Before Guardiola came in Bayern had cleaned up the house in Europe and Germany both, winning all three.. GIVE IT A FUCKING REST WITH THE BARCA CRAZE.

lol ok bud take it easy ... its as if i insulted you ... relax and learn how to communicate with others
2
Alex 11 years ago
oh ... suddenly the "take it easy" come back.. Don't say stupid things in public and you won't be called on them. .. Simple as that.

Your take it easy line isn't going to camouflage the utter stupidity in what you had suggested earlier.

Do not forget about Laurent Blanc and Lopotegui. They all carry out the legacy of Cruijff. And maybe I forgot to mention Mourinho here?

@Alex - there is no stupidity with what i said you ignorant little turd... the only stupid thing here is you and the way you were raised to talk to others in this way. This is football, a gentlemen sport and last i heard you can say whatever you want - so regardless if i am right or wrong (which can be interpreted both ways as you can see) do not think hiding behind your keyboard your whole life will help you - one day you will get a nice smack on the face by talking like that

Boring Leagu where the winner of the league is 90% of the time as predicted in August.

Bob 11 years ago
Epl would have been even more predictable if Bayern were to play there...
