Now I understand why they name it Ligue 1, because there is only 1 team competing for the champions.

If they can avoid Barca.

Impressive as they seem,Paris cannot match Barcelona player for player.Especially in midfield dominance. And when Ibrahimovic gets starved of the ball, Psg's offence suffers.

With Di Maria, they can cleverly set up a counter attacking gameplan, but they would be making huge error trying to match Barca at their game

I like PSG a lot because they feel very selfless, a lot like Barca even though their style is different. I don't feel like any player on this team is above setting up an assist instead of scoring. Even Zlatan, with his ego, is very much a team player with PSG. I have more and more respect for him, and hope Paris do well in the CL this season.

You're right they could exchange with Arsenal in Premier League, like that Arsenal could have a chance of winning a trophy or at least not finishing 4th every season

PSG are very dangerous this season, switch Cavani with a top 5 striker atm and you have a CL big contender, Costed them vs Chelsea last year and vs Madrid this year, not saying he is average but with Paris actual passing machine they need a serial killer upfront to link up with the Zlataner...

Ibra is striker though. A top 5 striker couldnt play the other positions Cavani does as well as he does

As much as you hate him he is spot on.

Also PSG won Barca on much more important matches not in the group stage, because in groups any team can afford to lose 1 time.

When are we going to rethink the away goal rule? It is so ridiculous! It is odd that you can knock out a team without actually beating them, 1-1 at home and 2-2 away... That's just 3-3 in my book. I don't see any difference if it's a 2-0, 1-3 affair either. It doesn't matter if it is harder to score away since both teams have to try and do it. No other sport changes to value of scoring depending on where it is scored. People are used to this rule and maybe don't question it, but if you really think about it, it is really weird...
