Tottenham Hotspur

Everton are paupers compared to clubs like Arsenal who have the budget to buy almost any world class player they fancy. The Gunners are in the same league as Man City, Man United, Chelsea & Liverpool - the big spenders' club. Money buys trophies in the modern game.

The only way Everton can compete with the likes of Man City, Man United, Chelsea, Arsenal & Liverpool is to have sugar daddy owners like them. The modern game is all about who has the biggest budget. The smaller clubs are now fading fast as they run out of steam with their razor-thin squads who do not have the luxury of rotation to keep their players fresh.

Aaron Lennon, excellent goal

Roberto Martinez mustn't be so naive with his attacking formation because he doesn't have the strength-in-depth of the mega wealthy clubs like Man City, Man United, Chelsea, Liverpool & Arsenal. Even Man U & Chelsea have played in safe for the most part in spite of their embarrassment of riches. Everton's attractive style of play is just not paying off because their defence has been leaking goals.

Neill Lennon had a point to prove to Spurs, but he chose a muted response to his wonderful goal. All credit to the Everton winger.

1st half all Spurs, 2nd half Everton finally woke up. I hate to say it, since I had high hopes, But I think Kone has to go. the level of play was so much better as soon as he left the pitch. Great game and 2 great goals.

They play cross bar challenge :)

Son needs to start. Dumb fuk manager

that harry kane assist that hit the bar...it's like he knows where to put it this guy uses his head way more than his feet

Tottenham and Everton play the most exciting and attacking style in the premier league. Joy to watch!

Poor Bentaleb... signed a new 5 year deal and then gets injured an in poor form. Hope he will back. Young and full of talent, but that's how most Spurs is. They have something nice going on for the future.

Besic is fantastic player . As soon as he came on with Deulofeu , Everton started pressing Spurs hard .

i swear kane hit the exact two same shots

Breath-taking game! Full of life and excitement. Great advert for football. Both teams should be proud of each one's shift...

Very good match, both team were unlucky not to be able to make the difference. Tottenham in particular was so close to score at least 1 more goal.

What an entertaining match, two fanatastic goals... It´s a shame that this game was only 90min

I wanted to vote for MoM but Pochettino wasn't an option. Respect for the guy!

aaron lennon u piece of shit ....you never did something like that in tottenham.stay in everton for ever

When the keeper use only one hand ... it's a problem. Look carefully at the goal .. if only Lloris tried to stop it using right hand, i think it could be a save.
That why i love Buffon and Neuer ...
