Martial just has to play up front. Give Rooney a break, than try him in different position, maybe CAM. I know Herrera plays well there too, but he can also play in CM alongside Schneiderlin (who played really well btw). And Depay could play on LW... i know he's been out of source recently, but still better than Rooney IMO.

Boring... Absolutely nothing happened in this match, only Martial and Valencia were good and tried to attack, Martial provocking fouls and cards, to me the best player in the pitch in this game.

I honestly think that Rooney is still brilliant. He performed some perfect manoeuvres out on the field even if every fourth touch wasn't great. But the problem isn't Rooney. It's the fact that we're playing him as a sole striker. It is so obvious to me that him and Martial would compliment each other brilliantly if played as a striking pair. Whilst one has pace and gifted dribbling abilities, Rooney brings sheer power and an unparalleled eye for the game. I really really hope at some point LVG experiments and tries them out as a duo. I think the results would be magnificent. Regardless of the dry scoreline this derby, I still think Utd were the better side. We can mount for the title this season. I'm 100% confident of it.

I agree with you 100% How bout some 4-4-2, even 4-3-1-2. I also think Rooney could be switched with Martial. Since Rooney is very right foot dominant he could attack the goal diagonally in the fashion that Depay does, only he won't loose the ball and will look to pass early on. Mata needs to get in on the action more too. Back line is looking solid. LVG seems to be a slow learner…Remember when he tried 3-5-2 for a while? Then only recently benched Depay and took Blind out of CB. Blind should be a sub for our two centers mids, and Felaini as an attacking sub. -#6

to play a 4-4-2 united would need 2 very good & direct wingers to provide the width which unfortunately united don't have. Also, united seem to have one too many #10s in their squad. Hererra and mata are too good to be left out!

I scratched my head when Pellegrini bring out Yaya Toure. He's the power of our counter attack. Bony though, SMH. When will we get the best out of him. Anyway, glad to see Kompany back. Our clean sheet moment will be back too. CMON CITY!!!!
