Stoke back on track? Back to back wins, 4 games unbeaten & Hughes finally knows his best team.

Okay I've been on Tim Sherwood's side all along but this performance was inexcusable. We may have lost just 1-0 but I can't recall Jack Butland making a single save in the whole game. And it's a bloody miracle that Stoke didn't score a goal in the first half. Oh wait they did but we got away with it because of the referee's incompetence who disallowed a perfectly good goal. If we continue to play like this, we're almost certain to go down. There's no fight, no spirit in the team. I hate to see managers getting sacked but if we put up another performance like this one, Sherwood should make the honourable decision and resign.

I don't want Villa to go down but sacking Tim won't be the best decision I think. He changed the team's fortune last year and villa recovered a bit at the end of the season. Sometimes you have to blame the players, sometimes the manager tells them to do something and they just do something completely different ..

Perhaps he should be given 1 more month. We did play quite well against Liverpool and losing to Stoke at home is nothing new. We lost last season as well and the season before that and the season before that. But if there is no change after 1 month, then he has to go.
