What a call by LVG to start Januzaj and it worked. Still not good enough but happy for another win!

To be a strong team you don't have to win by a lot every week. As long as you win it doesn't matter. Look at what Chelsea did last year, they won by a goal most of the time and it won them the title. I'm not saying we will win the title but these wins will get us a top four finish.

I told you all in the preview it would be a tight game, but hat United would win it. Oh, the thumbs downs I got for saying that.. Now, who's talking?

Good game

Rooney really needs to pick up his form quickly. Darmian is best of all the signings so far but he really shouldn't pull shirts and grab players like he did yesterday. Aston Villla deserved a penalty for that.

As Van Gaal always has problems with starting good into a season, this could work. Two wins, defense is not that bad and the new players still need their time.

Rooney always will be Rooney , Rooney is a wonderful player and will be every day, every minute. but the problem is Vangaal is a boring because I like 4 4 2 it will be amazing. so Rooney can do many things

it's only the start of the season, and our team can only improve so am satisfied with the 6 points. I hope LVG starts with Mata and Herrera as they play great together. We badly need an experienced solid CB with Smalling in the back and a lethal finisher in front. We can not rely on Rooney alone and Blind played well but i bet he will make errors when he's under pressure.

lol.. I thought United was going to be stronger this season. They look weaker :') the will get thrashed by teams like City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea. And even Everton!! :')

And yeah, here comes the comments about Chelsea drawing to Swansea --"

yeah.. like your team got trashed by Shitty.. 3-0? looks not good for a team that loves to park the bus, right?

Could see memphis was eager for a goal there. Could have control the ball more and finish it calmly. Overall, a win is still a win. Great performance by the back four. Still, more work has to be done.

tourney_master 11 years ago

But if Villa defenders caught up, they would easily block memphis judging from the fact that United lost the ball very often in that game.

Great start by United. Not the best form yet, but they have some fabulous players so it's gonna be better I think.

Watching manu nowadays is like watching a team like sunderland playing. How things have changed.

Ozil 11 years ago

What do you expect? 90% of the players in manutd are of midtable qualities. That include schweinstger and rooney!!!

bruce lee 11 years ago

footy 11 years ago

@ Ozil- Around 8 to 10 players in current manu squad have won Premier League title "excluding Rooney"so what about arsenal..???????
