Nobody cares about the USA... Football is for the entire world except USA really. The one sport you failed to ruin (because you used to suck at it, now it's a little better) for the rest of us.

Why must I read this same stupidity everywhere I go? Here in the USA, we refer to ourselves as Americans and we refer to the USA as America. We also say "US" and "the United States" as well as "the United States of America." Who fucking cares what we decide to call ourselves or our country? And, we refer to this beautiful game as 'soccer'. I'm sure the Chinese use a completely different word for this sport. What fucking relevance does it have? None at all, yet imbeciles keep harping on this point as if it matters, or, worse, as if it implies something about our knowledge of the game. It's a fucking moot point what we call this sport -- we're talking about the same game.

You are an idiot and no better than the American idiots. The world series is called that because it was sponsored by a newspaper called the New York World. Also American football is not only played in America. There exists European leagues such as Polish American Football League and German Football League.
