Peru played very well, not just in this game but the whole tournament. It's a shame their Copa had to end with questionable refereeing/a cracking shot from Vargas

Arsenal, United Arab Emirates 0 9

Really couldn't be prouder of the squad that represented my country. I saw a squad full of conviction and pride, carrying the hopes of 30 million Peruvians. It just seemed inevitable that this Chilean side was going to be beaten from some very obvious favorable refereeing, but for some minutes it seemed very likely even when we were down with 10 men. Thank you for a great tournament mi rojiblanco, Russia 2018 we coming for ya!

Peru played with 10 men, but Chile couldn't score many goals. If it was Brazil, the score would have been at least 3-0.... for Peru. Lol.

That goal from Vargas was wonderfull but the referees killed the game for Peru at least thats what i saw...Its a pity watching referees killing such games because Copa America is an awesome tournament to watch.

I admit. I cheered for Chile during World Cup 2014. Their attacking football was exciting to watch. Well, not anymore. Look at all their matches during Copa America. This is not the proud way one becomes a champion. I wish Argentina defeats them in the final. And it breaks my heart.

they are playing really good... but people stay's with the referee's bad desicions.. the first goal was offside but then he made a goal that wasnt offside and signaled offside, that plays the people doesnt see or prefers to dont say them, only jugding that the tournament is fixed..

kevin 11 years ago

that was a bs call if I've ever seen one.. what a way to ruin a game ref.. Peru could have won.. that pisses me off so much to see that... No intention whatsoever

Chile - the most fu..ing ugly national team. How can they enjoy these wins. I bet Messi will get yellow card so ho won´t be able to play in next match.....Vidal is stupid fu..ing pig. I would send Roy Keane on him.

This refereeing is a bloody nonsense. Chile has been heavily favoured since the 10th minute of their first game, while Argentina and Brazil have been getting the short end of the stick. It's starting to look more and more like this tournament is rigged for Chile to win it and on an easy path at that (having played no respectable teams so far). Let's see if Argentina gets screwed today to give Chile a rather easy finals

Let's just give the Chile cup already . Referees made it clear that no one is beating them .

DJ YEO 11 years ago

Chille doesnt deserve to win this fucking cup at all 2 games with refree's help and score an offside goals. I sincerely hope Argentina destroy this bunch of cheating cunts. GO MESSI do the world a favour bring JUSTICE!!

Chile is slowly but surely getting hotter and hotter as the games come by. I want to salute Vargas for that exquisite strike. Its Chile all the way!!!

Not taking anything away from Chile, I like to see them in the final but. Probably the easiest way to final + referee in the last 2 matches, I don't know..

pato_130 11 years ago

Fiorentina, Chile 0 16

the match was starting, and where did you see a red card for shoving a face? yellow card maximum. The peruvian was playing at his limit, angry the red card was showed minutes later

Am I the only person who thinks Zambrano didn't even commit a foul when he got sent off?

DrButterface 11 years ago

Nope, you're not. That was nothing close to a foul, he played the ball and then accidentally hit the opponent, that was neither dangerous play nor intentional.

miguelfllores 11 years ago

Toronto FC 0 119

it was debatable. Wasn't on purpose, but was reckless.

pato_130 11 years ago

Fiorentina, Chile 0 16

this can be discutted by the ones who play's football, when you kick up to the ball or anything you lay down the leg in the moment, zambrano didnt do that and hit the first that came up, search the picture of the back of aranguiz and ask if it was foul.. nevertheless of that he was very agressive in the match and the red card was going to be in another moment if it wasnt in that play

al 11 years ago

lol . I fill sorry for the club that buys Vargas thinking that hes a good player. he is average player at best.

SF 11 years ago

again, latin american referees. Gosh, they're destroying every f.ucking game. It's getting suspicious now. You know, latin american countries are full of corrupt and bribery.

pato_130 11 years ago

Fiorentina, Chile 0 16

why ? what was bad apart the offside goal ? there was a goal in good position that the referee invalidated

saiid 11 years ago

I don't know where the hell did that red card came! from and worst of all Chile first goal was offside. No offense but Copa America need to provide some serious ref training.

Peru was very good... Peruvians can complain on referee, I don't think that should be red. Whole tournament has strange decisions.

Neil 11 years ago

The sending off was justfied. Watch the replays.Peru were really good but Chile is, hands down, the best team i South America right now. Argentina or Paraguay in the final, Chile will win.

matej 11 years ago

you mean the referees will win it for Chile
