Thailand is above any of the South East Asian countries by large margin... That's the only country that can get remotely close to the World Cup... Vietnam has a decen academy called HAGL, with some good players like Cong Phuong, but that generation is not appreciated anymore by Miura ... sad to see Vietnam can't use a well developed teams but (lack of experience) and still use bunch of overrated old stars like Cong Vinh
