The Premier League is NOT the strongest league nor does it have the best teams or best football. What they do have is better organization, TV rights are divided more equally, better marketing and is more competitive because most of the teams are of more equal level than other leagues while at the same time having a high level of football that is more "entertaining" because of the high pace that its played at. THAT is why it is considered the best in the world. That is what I think at least. (Sorry if I sounded awkward as English is not my 1st language)

Another testament that english teams are mere plodders now and EPL is overrated!

Another proof of EPL's quality. Even if the market size is one of the biggest in the world, the quality of teams are below par. I'd say Leage 1 = EPL

In fairness, Chelsea and Arsenal were unlucky. Arsenal did a lot to undo a poor first leg and imo deserved to get the 3rd goal to go thorugh. Chelsea were undone by a world class header after a phenomenal performance from PSG. Both teams unlucky to go out. Man City were out classed. Liverpool were poor. Everton fans cannot be too disheartened going out to some insane goals. It's ridiculous to suggest that English teams cannot perform in Europe!

I agree, but as a Chelsea fan I say that we deserved to go out. PSG was simply better. Arsenal was unlucky but they had a horror show in the first leg, so Monaco probably deserved it aswell. Liverpool was simply poor and City was outclassed by the best team in the world. England will be back next year

What happened to EPL??? They are the richest league in the world... Another team from the "best league in the world" showing its power lol. There are no English participants in European quarter-finals for the first time since 1993.

This is the reason why England can't win any tournament... The fans don't know good football and media criticized players too much
