Super Frankie Lamps will joining Lord Villa soon...

MLS will become at least as big as Ligue 1 in less than 2 decades. The financial support that football (Soccer) can receive in the United States is enormous. It is becoming more and more popular every day. American love for sports is immeasurable. American Football's single Super Bowl game is about 10 times larger and more influential economically than UEFA Champions League Finals or the World Cup Finals.

lols, The problem of the MLS is that USA is not located in Europe. Maybe financially it is strong, but MLS teams do not Play in the Champions league and that is a huge blow that can not be changed.

Why is that? He's 33 years old, possibly at the end of his career and has won La liga, UCL, WC and EC to name a few.

Nikato, no shit they don't play in European football. Point is, in the course of two decades or so, I'm pretty sure rules can change...cups can be added...the whole sport will evolve. Money can do a lot of things. Don't be small minded

the FIFA WORLDCUP is BIGGER than the Super Bowl!!!

Michael Jordan....yes the WORLDCUP is BIGGER than the SuperBowl. Because the entire world has a chance to play in it. Of the continents that qualified lets see who made the round of 16?3 out of 4 (75%) for Concacaf (where Villa will Play) , 4 out of 5 for S. America (80%), 2 of 5 for Africa (40%), and 6 of 13 for Europe (46%)Which game was the most watched game of the entire worldcup? The Final? 17,324,000 views. Nope.Group Round: USA vs Portugal 18,220,000Most watched games ever?1) USA vs Portugal 2014 World Cup 18,220,0002) 1999 Usa vs China Womens world Cup 17,975,0003) 2014 Final 17,324,000Get the picture?

lol the match between chelsea and manchester city was even bigger than the superbowl :)

@ lolos: Come on dude. Super Bowl isnt larger than UEFA CL Finals. Super Bowls are funny because americans become sick when it comes up to celebrating their nationality and seeing comercials ;) Its not about the game. But in CL Finals, its all about the game!
