vs

HT 0 : 1

Japan

actually the one who save the ball from scoring wasn't Iraq's goal keeper .. but somebody else :D :D :D

Honda hits the bar and commentator goes... "Good save!"

I wonder how old Honda Accord is,

hi

i believe a player of honda's quality to put in an open goal opportunity but no he missed.. come on be more clinical next game ..

Seriously has expected more from Japan here... they are very unlucky this match + a super motivated keeper from Iraq :)

Aww :( Unlucky.. congratz to japan.

Firstly I want congratulate Japan for this victory and hard luck to the Iraqi team. Japan had the biggest part of the game where they were able to roll the ball and attack at their own liking tempo, which lead to huge gaps in the Iraqi side. Second half was much better preformed by the Iraqi team were they had some chances towards goal but missed quite a lot of them.

Honda has gotta be more clinical than that, he missed tons of chances!!!

Ultra Nippon!

Honda playing crossbar Challenge lol

Despite scoring the winner, the attacking midfielder could have scored at least four goals but struck the woodwork three times, including twice from close-range, as the defending champions squandered a series of chances to extend their lead.Japan leads the group with six points, three clear of Iraq and Jordan. The four-time champions next play Jordan.GG japan!
