Man, that Brazilian commentator is really irritating. I had to mute the video.

It's kinda awkward that so many "swedes" rather root for iran then sweden. Perhaps were no longer a nationstate but a holder for others... Sweden aka pushovers.

yeah, i agree im not really proud of this country, we are cowards with a too high level of immigration. and its not nice to see so many ppl supporting a disgusting shariah teocracy like Iran on the stands

Perhaps they came to support the team that brings them memories of the home that they left behind to come to Sweden. You shouldn't immediately jump to the conclusion that this means "Muslim Anarchists" are planning to dethrone the great childrean of Valkyire. Gosh, People are such bullys behind a keyboard.

@knibisthe Iranian ppl outside of Iran obviously don't support the regime hence why they fled the country. So when you say "its not nice to see so many ppl supporting a disgusting shariah teocracy like Iran" are you referring to the Iranian soccer fans or swedes who cheer for Iran?

Anyone else notice that when Berg scores the second goal he gets ignored while Ibrahimovic gets 3 high fives?

Good game. Iran is regaining confidence one game at a time. I can see Iran being in a better position in 2-3 years from now if they can get more friendlies against top teams.

I thought this game would be tougher for Sweden. As for your complaints, it's all relative, you guys make it to the world cup and from what I've seen you are no push overs. Ive seen you commenting before, you are probably right about the friendlies but be careful what you wish for. Sweden took only tough friendlies last year and lost most, plus some shady qualifying results and we have plummeted in the FIFA ranking making our qualifiers harder.

@ Zlatanista,The fact is, due to Iran Football Association's fuckups (which happens to be controlled by the Islamic regime), most countries are not willing to arrange friendlies (and I don't blame them)..the problem is that Iran's football continues to suffer as a consequence of these messed up policies/politics. Iran has some players in European leagues, but that's not enough, they need to play against better opponents like Sweden and others to build their confidence and gain exposure to top class football.

Iranian players may be thinking about the nuke deal and to dominate the arab world one by one with sheea minorities. so far 4 arab countries with sunni majority are in their hands, and the only one they failed to take over is bahrain. It is okay if they got one goal

Chill out Zac, you can't expect everyone to believe your fairytales. I see this comment under every Zlatan video, we play Iran, and some religious nut just can't let this one slide without handing out some knowledge... It was a nice effort, but you read the wrong books for the majority of the viewers. Besides, that's not why we are here, we are here to celebrate what we have in common. The beautiful game.

It was a great match. Sweden was better but Iran fought good. They played very confident and not very defensive. Good game overall.

Well, the Swedish players are twice the size of the Iranians. So no surprise there.
