Giroud missed a lot of clear opportunities, but he was still better than Benzema who was a ghost as usual. When France plays with Benzema, it's like they played with only 10 players. I want to see Griezmann as a striker. Looking forward to having Lacazette back in shape.

Lol Benzema went in when France was in a poor form, he tried to have a contribution on the build up. Giroud was awful, i cant understand how are you defending him here, it couldnt be any worse...Missed all his headers, some were easy as hell, didnt assist Griezmann being selfish and still missing; missed more than 3 1 vs 1. Loosing the ball stupidely who leaded the counter that caused Serbian goal. I would rather see them playing with ten men rather than this useless average player...

Not trying to defend Giroud, I wanted him out after the break, but I can't understand how you can defend Benzema either. France have many young strikers with a lot of potential, I'd rather see them play and gain experience, even if they are not necessarily much better on the field, than have Giroud or Benzema on the team again and again despite their bad results. The Giroud vs Benzema is a stupid debate, they're both as bad when they play for France. One misses everything, and the other doesn't do anything. And you know very well it is not only about tonight's game. With a proper striker it would have been 4-1 or 5-1 tonight.

Giroud is not the flop of the match. Do you think that Benzema played better when he was on the pitch ? Nope, actually the end of the second half was super boring.The truth is France usually plays better with Giroud upfront. He does miss a lot of chances, he is not a clean player technically, however without the ball he really create spaces for other players. Benzema (He is the better player I am not arguing that) is not a pure Number 9, he will go back to look for the ball, won't create as much spaces.Football is also a game played without the ball. And at this game if we consider their perfomances with the NT Giroud is better than Benzema.

Giroud was blessed to play in a moment France had a great form, he still meesed up, he didnt participated to the build up so the first half form had nothing to do with him.Benz may not be adapted to France style, but imo France should adapt to his style and play on him like they did in WC. And if Deshamps doesnt want to, then Bench him.
