because he aint allowed to play in the A squad because of what happened in the world cup with suarez biting another player

In August he also played for Barca first-team, but that one was also non-official match. Like the commentator said, Suarez comes back in late October vs. Real Madrid. Till then he has only right to be a part in a friendly matches.
