Looks like pool is not with full force. MU is with full 1st 11. not a really fair game. I think its going to be different if this is PL, as time goes on.

liverpollski 12 years ago

Ohhh Liverpool with their England squad will achieve the same amount of games as England in the world cup..

I'm a Chelsea fan and for me, United's link up plays have been very impressive and fantastic. Great job LVG. Far better than Chelsea. No hope for Chelsea this season. Red devils are back!

Good to see a positive comment on Man Utd from a Chelsea supporter :) Chelsea will be strong this season with Costa, Fabregas and Hazard will just continue to improve.

Seriously, i really wish to see Chelsea play as good as this United. the movement and speed of the team's build up play is excellent. the understanding between the lads and their positive vibe will be hard to beat. Chelsea current team has less momentum and impact since the additional of the new players. At times their play can be so dull. It's like there is confusion all around.

It doesnt matter who wins the friendly cup. The BPL has been so exciting well, annoying for some. If u want to complain, do it when the BPL STARTS

Liverpool look like a shadow of their former selves. Rogers needed to strengthen that defence. I thought that was the plan. Fair play though, it's nice to see a top English team with so many English players. Sturridge has to step up. The new signings probably won't make an instant impact. It's gonna take time. Gerrard may not be as effective this season. Well done Man U!

sturridge didn't play

wtf? Lampard scored so many goals that were not penalties compared to Gerrard who never scores unless it is a penalty. Lampard > Gerrard

Damn, I accidentally like your comment. Oh well. Lampard was great (terrible for England), but Gerrard has been more influential for club and country, excluding the recent world cup where he did nothing. I don't think Gerrard would ever join a rival team either

Ya and if Lampard was there in the last world cup he would have not played as bad as Gerrard did. Gerrard literally helped knock out his own country in the world cup.

I think voting United as 'Top Class' is stretching the boundaries of reality just a little a bit. Apart from the early chance, they were below average in the first half and found Liverpool's pressing hard to deal with. United improved in the 2nd half after Liverpool ran out of steam and could no longer press with the same energy they did in the first. Class goal by Rooney but Mata's deflected goal was more down to luck. Overall, pretty even game and nothing to get too excited about. Both teams will have to improve A LOT if they want to get in the top four with Chelsea, City and Arsenal favourites for top three.
