+1 there. that's another big issue, which affects also modern football in general: only few old school players commit themselves to the jersey they play for. if the Milan players had De Jong's attitude many things would go differently already.

it has been that side to his game that saw him fail at Roma and then at PSG. He can be very good, but you literally have to have a class midfield to clean up after him, when 4 out of 5 of his tricks end up putting the team in trouble. But still. It isn't just him. we simply don't have any good players. Has Pippo suddenly lost the dressing room? we looked so together vs Roma, and yet we seem totally lost since returning from the winter break.

looked like Allegri's Milan. sterile, no committment, i wonder what's going on in the head of these guys. usually i'm not one of those who constantly criticize the frenchman, i'm tolerant when it's about pure talent, but yesterday he lost 2-3 balls in a very careless way, how do we say in italian, "con aria di sufficienza". that was the attitude. the midfield was inexistent then, with bonaventura there wasn't enough cover. we lost the match there, and what makes me cringe is that Pippo didn't do anything about it between the 1st and the 2nd half.

Allegri, Seedorf and now Pippo. Either the issue is they're all mediocre coaches, or we accept the reality that when they've struggled, it has been because of the squad at their disposal. yesterday....e' stato uno spettacolo pietoso! I was still recovering from the disaster against Torino, but it seems that it will be another long long long season. bring on the stress and frustration.
