compliments to Sassuolo. Coaches and players included, this was boys against men. Sassuolo completely dominated a terrible Milan in the first half, and their win was thoroughly deserved. from the very first minute, Milan lacked philosophy, shape, tactics, direction and guidance. it is as if Pippo just told them 'yeh, go out there and play football'. Still. it takes nothing away from sassuolo who were brilliant on the ball, pressed wonderfully and in zaza, berardi and sansone have three of the best forward combinations in the division. Montolivo's first touches in the first half was very much indicative of everything that was bad about Milan. Hardly threatened their defence, and it was another woeful display by El Sharaawy. Cerci did more in 20 minutes than El sharaawy did in 70. horrible

And this is the team that beat Real Madrid 4-2. But then again, that's football. Sassuolo probably played well again just like they did to Juve top teams like this.

and they'll grow more and more. just think they already have their own stadium. Squinzi, their president and MAPEI owner, is investing intelligently. he's also an AC Milan fan.

This is just a preview for Galliani, if case he wanted to sell de Jong...A weak and awful midfield with no leadership or passing abilities.. Other then the "lucky goal" Poli was terrible, Monto and Essien wasn't any better either.. Very disappointing...

correct me if you think i'm wrong, but when Milan put zapata and alex, or even bonera then their defense is screwed up, i think the best defense composition is Mexes - Rami or Mexes - Alex, someone tell me where's mexes? is he injured or somethin?

milanlamiavita 12 years ago

bonera did very well in the left back role for the past two games. he is hapless when playing centrally. big mistake today to put rami at right back, especially with abate on the bench. the issue though wasn't really alex or zapata. the whole team never got going today. the first goal came from montolivo's hapless first touch in midfield and the second? leave arguably one of the most gifted young italians free to have a shot from a corner. mexes is injured.

Milanista 12 years ago

I agree with you milanmiavita, but do you think milan should swap out several player at the back and buy one solid CB? idk but for me zapata is the one that should be swapped out. and yeah, its a bad idea to put rami on the right because he dont have a good pace

Without Honda & De Jong, Milan can't pass the ball, a real lack of tactics...

MILAN & INTER have been gave too much glory for italian football, with 7 times ucl's title and Inter's treble last 2010. Now its time for them to rest a bit. But, be careful everyone that someday the giants will awake

We beat them at home 7-0, and look now at Sassuolo's football, damn....City of Milan will be years without CL , very sad to watch this...i fell like even if RM squad will play for Inter or Milan they will lose and draw more than wining matches
