analysis-wise - Another good display by Mexes. Both he and Rami did there bit on the very rare occasion of Udinese creating anything. You can in a way understand why Pippo has refrained from using Armero, given just how one dimensional he can be. if the ball isn\'t on his left side, he looks cumbersome and restricted. Van Ginkel? I\'m a bit lost as to what he is, exactly. He is a holding midfielder, a forward thinking midfielder, a passer or a creative midfielder? I would still much rather see him instead of sulley muntato, but it fails me as to why van ginkel would get used ahead of poli. Another poor display by El Shaarawy. severely lacking in confidence and his passing in a few critical situations were woeful. we do however function better without a focal point in attack.

no he didn't. he was awful. could have given pazzini a tap in, if he had passed instead of shooting. on two other occasions, he just had to play a simple pass, and yet on both occasions he over-hit the passes. apart from that, he contributed next to nothing. when the ball is in front of him, he has no composure.

If there ever was a totally deserved and dominant victory in football, then this game was it. The first 45 minutes was a joy to behold, if not for another phantom goal. we need goal-line technology in Serie A ASAP, because Milan will never get these decisions from the referees. well done boys. wonderful first 45 minutes.
