Seems like Howard Webb got a plastic surgery and moved to Italy.

It is just beyond believe how Juventus just openly buying victories . Outrageous referee decisions. It is not simple ' bad day for referee ' . If there are such bad days for referee in such a big match , then he should not EVER again ref these magnitude matches or even be banned from refereeing.

We don't spend 1.200.000.000 euro in 10 years to win 1 champions league! How can you call your team a football team. Shame on you to support clubs that win only thanks the money they've got.

I will spare you for now. Solid Snake says you are alright.

Bale 12 years ago

Juve match-fixes just like Barca and Real do in la liga, so what's your problem?

We had the most chances. We controlled the game. What did Roma do apart from Iturbe's goal? The penalties were on the line and the line is IN the area.

Fede 12 years ago

Footyroom why don't you show Marchisio's clear penalty on the 10th minute that was ignored by the ref?

shpalman 12 years ago

that was not a penalty.

Topirodo 12 years ago

To those who think Juve pay the referee: if you are so sure that is true and correct why d'ont make an official conplaint to the FIGC signed with you name and address of course, then we see. Persnally a think you are kids under 10 or at least with a mind of a kid.

Hey Juve how much does it cost to purchase the services of a referee?

Oshy 12 years ago

Why don't you tell us? You won 3 champions league titles like that.

Fede 12 years ago

The best team won. Look at the stats.

None of them were penalty kick in my opinion. So it should have been 1-1 draw.

i have always respected juve even though i love as roma. but after yesterdays game, i feel sad that juve is not the great team that i used to enjoy watching. Forza Roma!

for those who bash Juventus and say we're "thief's" then go look at the shots on target comparison. To win the lottery you gotta punch in your tickets and Roma did not do so so either way we deserved the win.

Gustian 12 years ago

Shot on target, ball possesion, passing percentages is just numbers lads.. if you want win a match you must score goals, the FAIR goals i mean. This match should end up draw in my opinion, without 2nd juventus penalty

Juventus 12 years ago

funny, Cuz when juve loses of poor ref decisions, i see no haters here. All of you idiots can bark all the dayy. Nobody listens anyway hahaha

Haters just can't get smarter. Their mind is the 1 that completely corrupted by corruption crap. U don't know whether Juve truly responsible for calciopoli back in '06. Juve had wc players (Ibra, Trezequet was still a fine goal scorer,Buffon, wc's best player Cannavaro,Viera, Nedved were there). When Juve were relegated, team like Inter was so quick on signing Juve's players(especially Ibra). If Juve isn't a team that can win serie A w/o bribery, why other team so quick on signing Juve's players? Think logically fakin haters! If I met haters irl who running their mouth w/o actually having proof of crap bs they constantly throwing against Juve, I'd beat the crap out of them. U have freedom of speech but it isn't absolute. I have freedom to bash back towards your stupid crap hatred. Period.

saddened to read so many negative / sensationalist / conspiracy theory comments that do nothing but stir up negativity, and take so much away from what is a beautiful league and what was a great game. Please take a moment to view the game & the goals with a balanced mindset. The 1st Juve pen, is a pen. Maicon is in the box, and his hands clearly move up towards the ball. The 2nd Juve pen is touch&go, but you can't state the ref to have made a mistake. When you dive into a challenge so close to the pen area, you leave the ref with a decision to make. This isn't a case of a clear&stonewall miscarriage of justice. 3rd Juve goal however should have been disallowed. the keeper had no chance saving the shot, the juve player in an offside position could be seen as 'blocking' his view

You're clearly deluded on so many levels!

milanlamiavita 12 years ago

I don't need delusion. All I need are 2 perfectly healthy eyes to see, and a fully functioning brain that allows me to take a step back and judge a situation without bias. Refereeing mistakes happen. that's football and if you don't like it, then I suggest you pick another sport. How many times do you see defenders and opposing players jostling, arms all over one another, pushing and shoving on a corner? A lot! And many many times, penalties are not given. In that case, the penalty for Roma could've also been judged differently. you win some and you lose some. That's football. I'm not keen on Juve, but nor am I conspiracy theorist either. most of these people commenting are part timers. real madrid, barcelona etc etc. aw a contentious decision in Serie A...must be the mafia! GROW UP

SolidSnake 12 years ago

New York Red Bulls, United States 0 238

Exactly. I guess Chelsea bought the refs because Cahill didn't get sent off yesterday and Cesc didn't get carded for a hand ball in the box. Boo hoo! Juve are the better club, there's a reason Roma only won 3 Scudettos. I don't see Juve fans complaining about the Marchisio penalty not given? Wankers the lot of you.

biswojit 12 years ago
