i think madrid fans are expecting a lot from him because they are selling(or sold) di maria who is one of the best players in the world to get james who just happened to do really well in the world cup. i still think this is a bad deal and james is not worth that much. i would pick di maria over him any day.

Not the best game from Real Madrid despite the win. James obviously still needs more time to adapt. Ronaldo was poor but still managed to score an amazing goal. Ancelotti needs to polish the teamwork some more but what's important is that the team got the 3 points.

Agree with U. We are not connectin or communicating. Also why dont our DEFENSE actually do some DEFENDING? Had it been a better team, we would be put to shame.

God is madrid serious!!!!!!!! Did they just sold Di Maria and expecting to win CL, la liga and international cup with the overrated Colombian kid? I think Mr footyroom and Bale should wake up from their last season's dream, can wait to rape their as ses in el Classico

Real wasn't great but still managed a win. Besides, give them a break. They just lost the Super Copa and Ancelotti needs to give them a morale boost before they can go back to being Top Class as usual.

Double standard. Why do people always say that man city is a money team, but real is a class and passionate team. Screw all that bullshiit, marid is the biggest money team ever. That's why I feel disgusted when people say that real is such good, class team whatsoever, just pure bullshiit

Well that's because Real has been a good team since a long time ago. In case you don't know, Real have been winning the Champions League since the era of Di Stefano. Real get the money from the success they bring to themselves.

I agree with you, Real spends a large amount of money when it comes to buying players. But why would you feel disgusted when people say Real is such a good team? So winning 10 Champions League is not good enough? Having 32 league trophies is not good enough for you?

a team can be a moneybag, but real has history carved on their backs, and to compete in this world of monetary football, they have to spend, unlike most teams that got took over by tycoons, they barely got any history and notable players to look back to (unlike real madrid). but everything has a start, and city is doing very well to establish themselves as of of the best sides in PL for the last 10 years. so... hmm...

Poor performance overall of RM. Only 4 players stood out: Kroos, James, Modric and Marcelo.

Cristiano was a team player at united, he was less selfish, he was a prolific goal scorer at madrid that was the difference.

Jose Mourinho made Ronaldo mature and become a team player. Ronaldo in Man Utd was nothing but a show off winger who played for himself.

we need a spanish manager or maybe zidane. also a president who knows about football because florentino doesn't know anything he's all about marketing and buying flavor of the month fags like james.

M10 7 years ago
It's a well known fact that Perez just wants to buy the most expensive and ostentatious players, not build a team. But, James is a phenomenon, he's still young. Mark my words, the next Messi vs. Ronaldo rivalry will be James vs. Hazard

I really dont like ancelottis style.....he won CL and la copa del rey but still i think he sucks as manager....i prefer klopps for madrid

Great win, great team. Still can't understand why Di Maria was sold. He was so inspirational in winning trophies. I know he had problems with the manager, even so, he will be missed. I hope Kroos delivers. R.Madrid are still a strong team and I see them going far.

Gotta respect that never-ending appetite to score, his continuous determination to make the difference ; No matter how older he gets, how many titles he wins, how many records he breaks .. he always desperate for more .

Ancelotti is trying to push James into a position that is highly uncomfortable for him. Carlo made him play far behind today. He should start his game in the last quarter, as he has done in all of his past clubs and for Colombia. To take him out of his comfort zone is an unnecesary risk. Did anyone see his first half vs Atlético? THAT is his business.

Great goal by CR7 (even though he's clearly not fully fit)...however that was a really POOR performance by us....the midfield is just not good enough without Alonso...Ancelotti has to work more on the formation, cuz playing like this isn't gonna win us anything.

If he keeps pushing on like that, he'll end up like Messi in the last season. He should take a couple of matches off.
