lee is the surname of noble people in korea. as I said below, 90% of koreans didn't have their surname in the ancient era. yet when the slave system was abolished in 1894, they actually stole others' surname and pretended to be noble people. that's why most south koreans share common family name like kim, lee, and park which are surnames of noble people. most of the south koreans cannot even find their own ancesters.

@fnny stop introducing your plastic history you south korean hypocrite. in the ancient era, 90% of koreans didn't even have their family name because they were commoners and slaves. europeans never remember their real ancesters? you made me lmfao. just go to elementery school and study more history. those 90% south koreans then took others' surnames and pretended to belong to noble clan after the slave system was abolished; that's why most koreans share same surnames like kim, lee, and park. theoretically the ones who cannot find their real ancesters are south koreans since all of them except 10% who are of the noble clan have actually made their fake surnames in the modern times.
