I can not understand why Liverpool football club are relying on a man that hasn't won anything in his life to bring back the glory days, it does not work. Every top club has a top manager, chelsea got mourinho, arsenal got wenger, manchester city got pellegrini manchester united got van gaal and all of these managers have already won silverware and managed top teams, what has brendan rodgers achieved? one good season at swansea, very poor thinking from FSG

I don't think they have gotten any worse. It's just that when they were winning, strikes such as the one by Balo that just went over the bar, or Irbe's that hit the woodwork or the sequence where Balo, Coutinho and Henderson all had close chances blocked, were going in; now they are not. I was worried that even when they were winning they were relying on wonderstrikes. They remind me a bit of how Arsenal was playing earlier in the year: some nice movement and possession without a killer touch. They played well enough to win, but poor enough that a tie doesn't feel unjust.

Liverpool are really not far behind the absolute top positions, the main difference from last season is the lack of a "Suarez". They have relatively young and skillful team, they only need that extra percentage from one or two big stars to make the difference. If they can get that player/s they might actually do a good next season. Anything else said in my opinion is just mockery from haters.
