Lamela should've gome around the keeper when he was through on goal. Could've won a penalty or ACTUALLY score. I'm pretty sure Lamela gave away the ball more than any other player in this match. I'm pretty sure Pochettino is only playing Lamela because of his price tag and because he's also Argentinian, but at half time I'd have subbed his ass for Townsend. Still a great match! COYS!

Lamela needs to go, along with Soldado, Adebayor, Chiriches and Fazio. There might be others but these are the most urgent for me. Exept for the last two, I somewhere still hope and believe that they can turn it around but the stats say otherwise... I am sure Lamela will get better in another club, but for us he has nearly always just looked like a shell of his former self. Soldado too, he works good for the team but where is his killer instinct?

Newcastle should have bought Andre Carillo from Sporting lisbon this past winter transfer. Even do he is not really like Nolberto Solano since andre is more attacking. He would have contributed a lot. He's crosses are elite

hope tottenham in summer bring this players:musacchio and vietto from villareal, berahino from wba, sissoko from newcastle, begovic from stoke or krul from newcastle..and new manager must be slaven bilic now at besiktas,he is much better than pochetino, also if you say we dont have money,we have solution, give to wba either adebayor or townsend and money, give to newcastle worm if you take from them krul and paulinho or capoue and money, give to villareal fazio and soldado, and to stoke if you take begovic give them kaboul and worm, and than play with this line up 4-3-3: lloris, walker, musacchio, verthongen, dier, eriksen, sissoko, chadli, vietto, kane, berahino

with this team you can be dangerous and go to champions league and win trophys next year without problem and be strong team, and second team must be with young players like:yedlin, dier, rose, davies, chiriches, mason, bentaleb, dembele, holtby, stambouli, lamela, alli

Sorry, no, ask any Newcastle fan; we don't miss Pardew at all. Check his track record - it speaks for itself. 5 seasons as manager already makes him the 4th-longest serving manager at one club across the 4 English divisions, other clubs would've sacked him much earlier. But he's not the only change that needs to be made - it has to start from Ashley at the top.

Yeah and pardew got thrashed 2-0 at home by West Bromwich Albion pffffft
0
Logic 11 years ago
If you get your facts right, Pardew was actually allowed to leave because Crystal Palace made inquiries for him. No sacking involved; try again.

even as a spurs fan i dont want spurs to be in the europa league next year.united had a year off from Europe and had to focus only on the league and look where they are now.

the announcer says contact is necessary to be offside, totally, totally untrue. Tottenham deserved the win but that Eriksen goal could have been disallowed
0
Logic 11 years ago
Tiote once had a screamer against City ruled out for offside because apparently there was an offside player (Gouffran) "blocking" Hart's view.
