The one way to beat Chelsea is to also park the bus against them. They'll be shocked and start attacking. Then counterattack and score the first goal and park the bus the rest of the game. You have to beat Chelsea with Chelsea, like fire with fire.

learn to accept lose bitch...chelsea deserve to win....man.u defends also sucks!

Maximus 11 years ago

I don't understand why people are being so mad about Chelsea playing booring football..I think both teams tactically played exactly the way they should have played this match...Chelsea to defended to avoid loss keeping their title hope alive and Man Utd going full attack, keeping their title hope alive...If that Rooney shot would have gone in, I am sure Chelsea's approach would have been very different rest of the game...and to the Barca fan who is crying so loud, tell me who won La liga last year, when Real Madrid and Barca played beautiful football and Athletico Madrid played same defensive-counter attacking style football against your teams?

mcr7 11 years ago

I hate barca and i hate a.madrid especially their fan however this time i would agree with barca4ever fan gay, chelsea really destroy football..and a.madrid playing like that, they can only win based on luck and where are they know? third on the table.just like Chelsea this season, win on luck against other top half team.these kind of tactic wont last forever.agree that epl standard this recent years are very poor compare to 1980s liverpool team and Alex ferguson era.something need to be done to improve the league again.oh barca, messi still sucks and ronaldo is still better.

Vy 11 years ago

Yet Madrid did the same against bayern in the second leg of champions league semi final last yearn....

Before you say poor style of play from Chelsea, understand one thing.. we are not in the best of form now. We were at the beginning of the season and lasted for the most part. At that time, no one was complaining about our style of play. But now, we don't have a clear striker, both Costa and Remy are out injured. With Drogba, how can we play attacking football! Hence, we went for the pragmatic, strategic football, which maybe poor to watch but earns you the points which matter to win a league like Premier League. Any team will not be in form throughout the season, and has to win ugly in some cases to be at the top. Once we are in form with all our players healthy, Manchester Utd or any other team in England will be teared apart. Even in CL, next season you will see that for sure.

mcr7 11 years ago

erk no costa and remy?two starting player..for what i known united without 3,4 starting player in midfield and def..how do u want to tear them apart when u still park around the bus playing against 19 years old defender..next season in cl u will get knock out again..

Umm... 11 years ago

Beat athletico Madrid first then type your comment again

Ibra 11 years ago

Fans complaining that Chelsea didnt play beautiful attacking football. If you came to see beautiful attacking football United gave you that. If you came to see pragmatic football, Chelsea gave you that. Its a win win for me. How does Chelsea kill the game. Imagine though if they attacked more, United would have been ate for lunch. Like Mourinho said, games are not for playing. Theyrefor winning. I think he's right

Manchester United deserved to win. They played so much better than Chelsea.

Ibra 11 years ago

Chelsea deserved to win. They scored one more goal than United. That's how football works. It's a tactical thing. Else Barcelona should be winning everything they compete in

Aston Villa and Stoke City play defensively too, are they even in the top 7? No. Chelsea has the best defence in the league and also the most goals. So please before bashing any other team tactics, learn how to football. You don't simply counter posession with posession. You can't play entertaining or beautiful everytime - the reason why Arsenal got no trophy for 8 years. And as a football player myself, going full defence in 90 minutes with full concentration is hard as hell. From a Southampton fans which his team were also park the bus when against chelsea.

The best defense is a good offense. Remember that.

Kamil 11 years ago

You've got it all wrong.. The best offence is a good defence! BTW

Cfc 11 years ago

Both statements are always true tho..there is no direct correlation . Liverpool had a good offence last year but didn't win the league . We had a good defence this year but go knocked out of champs league .

your saying chelsea play parked the bus but your team trying to do what chelsea did, and you just didnt notice it because it doesnt work for your team... alot plays defensive tactics facing chelsea... why because they score more than any team in the EPL and have the least conceded goal in the EPL this season

Chelsea are a cancer on football. Yes they are potent but are killing the game slowly. Mourinho is a plague that any real football fan can see. The sooner he retires the better. Chelsea = Cancer

Ibra 11 years ago

Thats what the game has always been about. You young Barcelona loving fans now think football is tiki taka and possession. look at vintage teams. they were all very good defensively. In many sports the champions are the defensive ones. Boxing - Floyd Mayweather

mcr7 11 years ago

some psg fans moaning about defensive bla bla bla..or are you chelsea fan in disguise?

barca 4ever 11 years ago

thats why chelsea sucks..united without carrick, blind, rojo and jones but Chelsea still park around the bus.sad football by the 'most entertaining' football league.no wonder epl club got thrash in the champion league, your league leaders only know how to defense and win based on luck.i watch the game and said what the hell.come watch barca vs real, you never watch shitty game as that.by the way united fan, ur club need 1 or two more key signing especially to break down club that play only on defence and counter attack such as Chelsea. sell di maria to psg because he is useless.buy a quality winger that can break down defender and 1 more defmidfielder that can play in carrick role..quite sad to see rooney and herrara playing in defensive midfield as both of them are better playing up front..

KGB 11 years ago

Chelsea had no intention to attack. It doesn't mean that Chelsea cant attack. N y do you care about epl. If you don't like. don't watch. stop moaning baby. keep watching barca matches n stop b****ing about others

barca 4ever 11 years ago

it is the most logical thing and common senses for the top to watch the weak...trying to see how much you improve and see if you (epl club) can close the gap with other club in europe, but if your league leaders playing shitty like that, nothing to worry about then..that why your never improve, only see your self and indulge urself in some stupid self-fantasy..i put my hope on liverpool and man city to put some competition in the cL this season..but their not going forward instead backward..oh well at least lvg at man united now, usually the club he goes will become really good in 1,2 seasons..chelsea cant attack..that why guys cant even beat psg at home..

Still u didnt learn anything after chelsea knocked you out of CL in 2012? i can say chelsea is the most effective counter attack team... converting counter attacks into goals(most of its goal came from counter attack)... like it or not chelsea have a very effective way of getting points after a game and the records says Win..oh i forgot barca fan..even your attacking football cannot really dominate vs chelsea 5wins 5draw 5lose is the record of the chelsea vs barca.. and 2009 thats was a gift for you thanks to the ref

There is no competition in La Liga. Do you really like to watch Barca,Real and Atletico winning all their matches, scoring 4+ goals against all the teams. EPL has more challenge, it doesn't have only 3 teams. And it is fun to watch a team playing defence is much more entertaining than Barca keep passing the ball to sides and backwards.

barca fucking sucks.but what more hilarious some chelsea fans comparing record with barca fans.just want to ask chelsea fans how many time did you win the champion league?real and regrettably to admit, Barcelona are two most successful club in the world.it will be normal if we real fans questions barca fan.however seeing second rated epl club fans questioning barca fans are quite weird.you are on the different level mate.oh bye the way the most effective counter attack team is us , real madrid. we attack people with high tempo, and when people attack us we counter attack them with blistering pace.and there always high competition in la liga.before this there are valencia, real sociedad, deportivo and now atletico turn to try challenge us.just like epl in 80s and 90s, liverpoll and man u.

Ho man how much it annoys me to read every fucking game that chelsea is boring, and its always the same people! So what the f*ck do you want? if you play a game on your computer and dont like it in the first place, you wouldn't play it again and again every week just to b*tch about it on social media right? so why are you doing exactly the same thing with chelsea? mourinho might not play the football YOU want, but eh, doesnt he give a shit? No! so do yourself and everyone else a favor and go watch something else when chelsea is on

oh well it is a really boring.why need to be mad..just accept the fact that you guys are playing boring, defensive football.ask any other fans in the world and their would agree.even juve playing better than yours, thoug serie a are still boring like shit.how the heck a pl leader playing like serie A club and epl fans around the world got a nerve to say epl is the most entertaining league in the world.mourinho sucks you know..even with the expensive players such as ronaldo , di maria, benzema, modric, ozil at real madrid, he cant win the cl and only 1 la liga.sucks dude.guardiola should go man city and teach mourinho lessons again.oh lvg also can but i think he can only perfected man united next season.lvg c8 the mighty barcelona and rebuild bayern..mybe he can do it at united also

bluehero10 11 years ago

Defending is part of the game. Since when teams are suppose to attack and just leave their goal wide open? some defend more than others so it's not anti football, end of story. United could only cross and cross without any end result! after that, united's last resort were long shots without any danger except for one. If passing and passing without any major danger is what you call beautiful, then we have different perspectives. It is like watching the old Barcelona, since I am not a barca fan, it would be boring as hell to me

barca 4ever 11 years ago

lol why need to mention barca..oh because you guys sucks in the CL..haha just def and take lucky win in the pL but you can nver do that to other top club in the CL..if only defending is call beautiful..than thats mean sam allardyce play the most entertaining and beautiful football in the world..your club sucks dude..since some russian dude buy this club, the fans think their club are the most successful and biggest in the world..what a noob

Good result to Chelsea well played and congrats on the league title, that was surely a performance Utd can be proud of. To all those Chelsea fans that believe football is a sport to not play and win in an attractive style, just kill yourselves. The sport is to ENTERTAIN! That is why we have cups and intercontinental/continental competitions so fans of different styles can be ENTERTAINED. Points are necessary and grinding results in hard times is acceptable, the 1st half of the season was class and that should be he style of football Chelsea is known for. Man Utd are were known for a lightning quick counter attacking style and now are known for playing a possession style of football which is entertaining to watch. But that's my opinion on a team i respect #GGMU!!!
