WAZZZZZAAAAAA!!! There are only a handful of players in world football that can pull off something of that quality. And people say he is over-rated. And if you didn't watch the match, you didn't see his commitment to running back and putting constant pressure on the ball in the last 15 mins. Hats off to Ander and Di Maria as well, I felt he changed the game with his pace after he came on.

Di Maria Out Of Form Getting Assist Every Game... Wonder What He'll Do When In Form

Wayne Rooney complete player . Box to box striker , defender , and I am sure he can pull some saves as a goalkeeper .

Blind with assist and also involved with the set up of the second goal. Looks like he's improving and comfortable at LB. I like it. Fantastic skill by Rooney!

this momentum would halt the moment RVP returns, he should sacrifice himself and be a team player and stay injured....FOREVER

bergkamp 12 years ago

wow wishing for ur own player to stay injured. disgusting. plastic wll remain as plastic.

I'm a man u fan but I'm gonna have to agree with bergkamp on this one...

I'm United fan, but objectively speaking, Rooney's goal yesterday was more of a candidate for goal of the season. Goal of the season shouldn't be goal struck from past half line. It's not easy yes, but it's not so superb either. Goal of the season should be one of truly majestic / artistic quality, such as Rooney's bycicle kick vs City, Tevez's solo run goal against Parma this season (talking about example ok), Messi's maradona goal in CL years ago, etc.

(comparing with Charlie Adam's goal. Not that I hate him or Stoke)

what About Bobby zamoras goal vs West brom yesterday?

IMO Defoe's volley against Newcastle tops both goals.

bergkamp 12 years ago

lol yet u man u fans have always been over-glorifying beckham's all these years. ironic

Truly amazing from Rooney to show that much hunger to win the ball in the 90th minute. To add to that, Ibra would've been proud of his goal. Sublime touch and finish.

Aston villa did well but MUFC played way too good. Great win! hopefully this form and momentum will stay for the next big match. CLASSY performance as a team!

Lol Herrera was one of the best players in La Liga last year. Khedira is at the moment one of the worst. You can have him for free in the summer if you want. Then you can see if he is good enough haha!

chelsea 12 years ago

It is LVG what do you expect? Worst tactic, worst buy, put 200k per week wager on the bench. If david moyes is stil there, manu will be fighiting with chelsea for number 1 with the money they got for last summer. LOL.

Ozil 12 years ago

We never knew who was harrera until he joined manu. This is what you call one of best la liga player? Trolololol. Notsureifsrs.

Great goal from Rooney but that Charlie Adam goal against Chelsea was too cheeky. In fact today was full of great goals in the Premier League.

Wonderful goal from Rooney. Perfect control to pluck it from midair, then rifle volley in top corner. You could replay it a dozen times and not get tired of it. Class.

This is just terrific!!!We've been playing so well recently, I'm so glad that Mata and Herrera have both found their form back!!!

wames 12 years ago

all credits to the fact that RVP is injured. if RVP never returns all the players would improve and united would gain perfect team chemistry
