This is why I love Rooney playing as a striker, today he was poor in front of goal as was Cisse for Newcastle. Neither striker had their shooting boots on but Rooney still made an impact by pressuring the defence and goalkeeper, trying to set up his team mates and holding the ball up well throughout the game. His tireless work ethic is what separates him from the rest of the strikers we have.

i just hope liverpool won't rape us at anfield. just how long to get away like this? LVG lousy selection persists. keeping fck'in with felaini, herrera and januzaj. keep benching mata. Get that lucky break and have the audacity to celebrate. They way he celebrated that goal with giggs made me sick to my stomach. Respect giggs though for keeping it silent. Thank you Rooney again, please keep him upfront for now. Thank You de gea.

United lucky with the pen, the chances were about even, but you have to give credit to Rooney for his work rate.anyways, if you look at how many games Man United have been incredibly lucky I'd say they should be at least 10 points lower in the table... say sunderland H (not too much but still), this game, west ham A, stoke A, southampton A, arsenal A, west ham H, stoke H (2nd goal was offside and they had 2 HUGE chances in the end).. thats only the ones i watched and i say what i think

Man United are relying too much on Lady Luck rather than the skill they possess as a team. Its never a good sign

winning luck comes 1 or 2 times but winning almost every match is not luck its a class. however, united game has changed from scoring to possession. possession doesn't win the game.
