I can only praise Southampton but I'm still very annoyed that today they got lucky. Second goal had a lot of fortune involved, and the fact that Newcastle missed so many chances as well as the penalty shout which was a stonewall pen is frustrating considering we need them to drop points.

Yeah 12 years ago

uhm.. did you see Newcastles goal?A deflected pass that led to a Southhampton defender kicking it into an unaware Gouffran which resulted in a VERY lucky goal...

what'syourproblem? 12 years ago

uhm.. Gardos could've cleared the ball to the other side but instead he cleared it to the left side without paying attention to his surrounding.. So that was a mistake from him too..

martin 12 years ago

yep and he could have just let the ball to the goalkeeper

Okay, so allow the lucky goals for both sides. However, Newcastle should have had a pen!

newcastle fans crying for pardew now!

Gimme a break. We lost to Southampton 4-0 earlier in the season with Pardew at the helm. Seriously, how can people just speak without thinking. How about we (like all the others here) focus on the fact that Southampton are doing well despite their limited resources and deserve all their plaudits for their consistent performances.

Seriously Southampton have the best scouting team. Elia with 2 goals and best defence in the league, even though loosing all key players. Southampton were lucky at last minute, that was a clear penalty to new castle. I wont be surprised if they make it to top 4.
