not sure what everyone else thinks but id love to see mertesacker leave in the summer, our defence really needs someone quicker and more reliable. We also need a matic style defensive midfielder to play infront of the defence when playing more attacking teams. Szczesny must be shitting himself every game.

I think mertesacker is fine along koscielny but he needs backup defenders in case they get injured , and yeah he needs new cdm don't know coquelin potency though but flamini he quite slow and not that versatile , arteta s injured and we won't know his form after injury , maybe get 1 just to make competition .

Arsenal sorely lack the power to just kill off the opponents after taking the lead. They are going to have a hard time in Europe. (Sigh) I love Arsenal, I do but the lack of a proper strong CDM and really good CBs is killing them (or not letting them kill the opponents atleast). Atleast, if only, the coordination between the back four improves, teamwork can still overcome their apparent lack of strength. Despite Wenger hinting otherwise, I do hope he gets a solid CB. That will stabilize the team and give them real confidence going forward.

West Ham players, who were in an offside position, were obstructing Szczesny's view of the ball. That counts as an offside. Basic football rules.

That same rule did not count for Burnley's first goal against ManCity it seems. I'm not complaining but it's natural that young_reezy is confused. It IS an offside in both cases.
