ive realised , when messi and di maria play together , di maria never seems to shine as much as he did for real Madrid and also argentina when messi wasn't playing. I think its because they both do the same thing, start the counter, start dribbiling in , find team mates to do the one-two. obviously di maria is trying to do it but its not working when messi is there cuz messi does the same thing and does it better.

I think bias makes you thing that way.Remember the world.... Messi did it for Di Maria...... against Switzerland. It was great.Against Belgium ..... it was Di Maria doing it......Against Germany (world cup final) Messi couldn't do it alone. But against Germany (friendly), Di Maria did it alone although the friendly was less competitive.If you look at both games without regard for name, you will find that both are very complementary and have their place.
