Amazing first half and then referee decided to ruin the whole thing. First of, that was a clear dive from Cavani, second, from what I understood Cavani got his first yellow card for his usual "sniper shot" celebration, he got mad and grabbed referee's arm and instantly got a red card ? I understand you can't grab referees, but since when is it illegal to celebrate a goal with a shooting gesture ?

Maybe if every ref started doing this then the football players would actually start showing a bit of respect and stop harassing the referee every time they make a decision against them.

LOL, this referee should definitely be fired forever. Such disgrace. Cavani always does that celebration, seems like he had a grudge or felt sorry for giving that penalty to Lens but that was one of the worst refereeing decisions I've witnessed, and I thought FC Barcelona vs Chelsea TOM HENNING OBREVO 2009 UCL Semis was bad, denying Chelsea fouls and penalties.

At this speed, it's not easy to keep your balance. A little push in the direction you're running can destabilize you a lot. Plus, these athletes are strong. We feel the Lens player doesn't make any effort to push him, but he maybe actually push him harder than we think. If he had just grab his shirt, Cavani couldn't have fell, but here, I think he maybe fell without diving.I guess it's a little dive. Cavani could have stayed on his feet if he really had tried, but feeling an unfair pushing, he decided to let himself falling. I'm not sure he hasn't been helped by the Lens player with that little push.And also, at this speed, it's not easy at all to judge if he dived or not. So, don't be so sure of yourself

I dont agree with Kevin's first statement but common, that was clearly a dive. I hate that part of football, it has only been growing because the powers that be refuse to do anything about it. I dont even blame the players anymore, if you don't fall when it is clearly a foul, you wont get the free-kick/penalty. So they don't have a choice.

Ridiculous! Cavani pretends being like a sniper who shoots, like a football player who "shoots" the ball. The result is the same a clinical hitting of the target... the goal. Stupid yellow card on that.
