The Swiss had the bus parked almost the whole match and Argentina are the lucky ones? WTF?!

Despite how good Switzerland was defensively, from the 2nd half, all they did was defending, I dont get how much more deserve they were more than Argentina. Obviously, Argentina was poor and Messi to the rescue again, but either team could go through, just different style

Messi the magician with the spectacular run and an unselfish pass off to Di Maria who puts!! Di Maria deserved that goal for all he has done this World Cup!!

One word: Messi

At least the Swiss didn't need to rely on a penalty like garbage Iran to claim they put up a good match.

Judging from the way Belgium played the U.S, I can confidently say that Argentina will beat them. They're back line isn't the best in the tournament but is surely better than that of the U.S plus they have the best forward line. If everything goes well, they should see off Belgium.

My Argentina team...........they are not so good as my hope. It's not sure they are passing of Belgium, I believe Belgium team is better but Argentina get their best, maybe pass. Oh......help my God.....

switzerland did not park the bus. i don't know what game you saw. in fact they had the better opportunities, drmic and xhaka in first half, dzemaili at the end.

argentina lucky??? i think they play well. swiss parked the bus the whole game. i would like to see other big teams plays vs this kind strategies... i think most of the teams respect too much argentina offensive power and because of that they park the bus the entire time...

Argentina played better than their other group games, had more possession but swiss were playing very defensive, and also I do not understand why some of the attacking players of Argentina are playing like crap. Di Maria kept making stupid mistakes and Higuain was pretty much quite the whole game...Messi was the best player on the pitch and the only person who when he had the ball made the dangerous plays

I'll be surprise if Argen win wc

I came here just to see what voters will say about Swiss, and indeed you voters blindly said they was Top Class. I watched the match and (although Argentina didn't play Top Class also) Swiss can't even keep the ball or pass the ball right. How you call that Top Class?

Football is not just abt attacking, the Swiss defence did well n ppl dont blindly vote

you obviously didn't watch the first half, and it's because of the heavy pressure from Argentina that Swiss can't make ball possession with that kind of formation, when they get a chance they get a more dangerous chance than the Argentina one tho

deto 12 years ago

Because football is not about ball possesion only. But Barcelona fan just can't understand this simple fact. Swiss had more clear changes in first half that Argentina despite the ball possesion bullshit.

Is Argentina entertaining? No .... Is Argentina worthy of victory? No .... Will this mean they will win world cup? Yes, probably.

Argentina definetely deserved the victory......man, did you watch the game???

The swiss team is not made up of many 'original swiss cheese' players.. if you catch my drift. Just an observation

James Rodriguez >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Bale+Di Maria, wait and see when he comes to real madrid

fuso 12 years ago

are you serious? The kid is one hell overrated player in this WC, he proved nothing against monacco, and how can he be >>>>bale, I may agree with di mariabut not Bale

lel 12 years ago

5 goals in 4 games is overrated? Bale is an overpriced piece of shit. For 100 million euros, he should be scoring a hat trick every game.

muba 12 years ago

i agree with lel cause Bale he doesn't worth that money and second Di maria>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Bale last season, and Bale he has not yet proved anything in madrid with that money

Di maria had a poor game yet scored the winner !

manutdfansareassholes 12 years ago

Higuain is useless. Argentina really needs Tevez. Sabella is a shi.t manager. I don't see any tactic of his game.
