If italy had stayed longer in the wc14 germany would have no chance winning it. When was the last time germany beat italy? Not many of us were even born . Hahaha germans 19 years and counting ;D

Dumbass Footyroom deleting comments.

How could people say that France was lucky only because of matuidi's foul ?? Pathetic ! France dominated at the end of the game technicaly, mentaly and physicaly . Nigeria had many luck about Cabaye's shot etc . Benzema and Giroud wasn't there ok but still, pogba matuidi and our defense was strong enough to go trough... and please stop saying that germany will easely win against us...you never know.

Thumbs up to Nigeria, you guys tried, but luck not on your side.......we Shall meet again.

should b a red card 4 matuidi

France were lucky in this match. Matuidi should have been sent off. Nigeria played very well and gave France a good game for a very long time.

Matuidi nearly broke Onazi's ankle!! how can this NOT be a red card!! thats a shame

Hats Off to Nigerians #RESPECT !!

Nigeria played well but luck didnt fall on their side

How is that not a red card?...gutted for Nigeria, deserved alot more from this game...France had everything fall right for them, including referee decisions

If you keep blaming the referee, it's quite inappropriate, blame Sepp Blatter!

Jesus, that was an ankle breaking challenge.

That was a straight sending off. I guess the referee didn't have the guts to give the red. Anyway the French won't beat Germany with this kind of v8 performance. They are up against a German V12 biturbo.

since when France started playing like Italy? elbowing, terrible tackles...so disgraceful...

is pogba ballotellis brother?

Haha you're just mad about france doing well in the wc, yes it was huge foul but all of your teams have benefited from shit refereeing at one point or another so shut the f* up, nigeria played very well but they only had two shots on target and could barely move towards the end (and they deserve respect for that, they really gave all they had to give) France deserved the win and platini can't give or take goals anyway, I can't help but notice that none of the haters are nigerian fans, it's not because your team didn't play as well as france and didn't go through to the final stages that you have to convince yourself that there is no justice and that platini is an evil puppet master single-handedly controlling the outcomes of the world cup.

Wp France..not your best match but you are through!Allez les blues ;)

ONCE, AN AFRICAN TEAM IS ROBBED! NOT SURPRISED AT ALL! FIFA needs to do sth

POGBA IS JUST LUCKY

So Marchisio gets a red card but Matuidi doesn't? Smh
