Western environmentalists look at wind trenibus and get to feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Most of them don't have to look at them ALL THE TIME, mind you and they also don't have to look at the lakes of toxic sludge produced by the process of mining for the rare-earth metals vital to creating these trenibus, or the blighted farms and forests around them. There's an active protest movement in China (where 95% of these metals are mined) because these rare-earth mines are poisoning their fields.
