If you watched the game, or even heard from the Australian manager you would have understood what was going on. Plenty of new faces and youth for both teams. Australia were experimenting with formation and tactics. The first 25 minutes Australia looked the far better team even though they conceded a silly & lucky goal to SA. We all know this WC Was never going to be about progressing it's more about experience for AUS for the future.. (AVG age was 21?)

Average age 21? Australia didn't have a single player younger than 21 out there and the overall average age of the side was 26. I'd love to be proved wrong but I can only see Australia losing every match at this World Cup.

Just going off what the commentator said on BT sport, I can't see it being avg age 21 but that's what he said.. 26 sounds more realistic.

Lot's of absences from South Africa, most player no international experience play in their domestic leagues.. yet Australia was terrible. Not looking good for the world cup.
