Ameri89, i disagree what you said. If you are a big club, you should win titles and use those prize money to buy players and improve the team, not just concentrate on young "foreign" player. You can see what United do is totally different from Chelski and Manshitty doing. We bought young players from england and around the continent, not just concentrate on french players. And we use prize money and money from selling off players that don't want to success with us, to buy new players. So if your manager is wise enough, sell off Nasri when you still can, or else when January came, he will sign a pre-contract with another team, then he worth nothing.

Now, I'm not trying to say Arsenal's crap, but Arsenal has been going on and on about developing young players. I have a question: Why didn't Arsenal develop any top defenders? (You can add in GKs, but sczeny (sorry if i spelt this wrong) looks promising) Arsenal seems to lack the defensive development training. That is certainly an area Wenger needs to change if he wants to focus on young player development

its difficult for a team play like barcelona when your back four is too vulnerable to conceded a goal. you need world class defender to be good as barca.

Worst Defenders i have ever seen. But united, chelsea, liverpool or city fans shouldnt be talking. Those 4 clubs have WAY more financial power then Arsenal. Just because the gunners havn't won a trophy for 7 years it doesn't mean they are drowning. Arsenal is still and will always be a big club. The gunners have been praised by managers and players around the world for there financial play. Wenger was given manager of the decade for gods sake and yet many of you still criticise his methods. If Wenger had the money that chelsea, city or united had i promise you all he would be the most successful manager EVER. Plus i have to admit, we need defenders, squallaci and Djourou are not good enough. Im hoping he'll sign a decent CB. UP THE GUNNERSS!!!!

yes, arsenal should buy a new defenders. but not a bad game.

whether cesc stays or goes, with that kind of defenders, arsenal wont win anything this year. look at their rivals man u ( vidic, ferdinand), man city (KOMPANY, toure, lescott), chelsea (Alex, Terry, Ivanovic, Luiz). Their rivals have world class center- back while they useless ones like Djourou. They will score goals next season, but will also concede plenty. Unless they bring Jagielka and Samba and those two settle quickly, They have no chance of winning the league come may 2012.
