Holy crap the U21 team play and pass it better than the senior squad. They look comfortable running with the ball and seem unafraid to take players on. Capello should select a few more of these promising players to play in the qualifiers.

No wonder wilshere wanted to play for the U21 and not the senior squad.

Not used to seeing so many black players in the England squad. Leave some on the bench.

Why is that? They should play their best team, regardless of race..

Danny Sturridge better get regular football next season the lads earned it and payed his dues, he deserves the benifits!

Hobobob 15 years ago

The thing that makes England U21 squad so special is that they all are regular starters in their respective clubs' 1st teams. Rodwell at Everton, Smalling at Man U, Henderson at Sunderland, Welbeck & Sturridge had excellent loan spells, Phil Jones at Blackburn, Danny Rose at Tottenham, etc in comparison to Spain where all their players are bench warmers at Madrid and Barca. An incredible world-beaters team in the making.

Yes, we heard England is very famous for all those many young talented english players in the PL and for their permanent glories at WC and EC Finals....a real world-beaters team is in the making, cannot wait to see....
