that's a characteristic of a great team - even when they don't play at their best level, they get through

mamamama 16 years ago

so did barcelona get knocked out???

CR7ISDONKEY 16 years ago

Barca was not bad ...Athletic was too good

Philip 16 years ago

LOL, what? Dani Alves, Geraid Pique, Eric Abidal, Xavi, Sergio Busquets, Pedro Rodríguez, Lionel Messi and David Villa are Barcelona B team? Are you insane? Barcelona played with 90% of the main players in this match. And they were average.

Lambo 16 years ago

thumps up if you think Villa is there for modeling rather than a useful striker...he used to do so good in Valancia...Barca wasted money on this guy...they already have the best...so greedy.

Yeah, I agree. It was kind of a waste that Barcelona bought Villa. David Villa was doing such a good job playing for Valencia.

it was no wast of money... he had always score 11 goal in La Liga and they have the money so why don't buy the best to make the club even more succesfull????

Namer 16 years ago

Bilbao really gav a tough match to Barca. They play a gud football. Villa really wasted a lotz of gud chances, he juz like dunno how to score when 1 0n 1 wif keeper. I think overall performance is gud except Villa.

it's just because he isn't so good to headshoot couse he is only 1.75.... and the keeper was in front of him but he tryed!!

Abidal's goal was a revence of the stupid Atletico fan's there throw something after him and hit him in the head... bye the way what the heel was it?? some metal i think??

Lambo 16 years ago

Barca didn't loose, they'll never loose with a team like this. Casillas would have saved that and would have been 1-0 for Barca. Barca should hire Buffon. Casillas + Buffon=Killer Team! Barca would be on top!!!! How much is Buffon again?

iHEARTfootball 16 years ago

Manchester United 39 1005

No I disagree. Casillas and Buffon on the same team would simply make football less entertaining to watch. As a football fan, I want to see the best vsing the best, not the best playing WITH the best. Barca is already a great team and they're already on top

LOL.. it's Barca B.. are you still sane?

this is not barca's b unless messi, iniesta, xavi, david villa, dani alves....and more are not important i would like to see barca without only two from those player's i mean any two of them so u better shut up and stop making exuses about ur bad preformance...and the true reason of this result is that atletco bilbao is not afraid of barca and played normally while barca were soo scared of losing...

Barca4life 16 years ago

Good game overall from both teams...great seeing Abidal score his first official Barca goal... Atletico Bilbao really gave Barca a hard time competing in the game... Anyways good try Bilbao and congratulations to Barca!

Insider 16 years ago

Hey Bilbao's goalkeeper damn cheebye cunthead sia! He should have covered Abidal's narrow angle shot on goal! Textbook error should never be condone, i say sack him! Wat a waste of chance to serve Barca their first loss!!!

KILLER,el matador 16 years ago

The best team in the World, winning with 2 draws. The rise was, the fall is. Save the polished shoes of Guardiola, Can i start to laugh?

Anirudh 16 years ago

You are quite stupid to think that because barca went through on away goals that they are on the decline (mind u they did go through).

Guess today was not a good day for the star teams, LOL, most of them tied or lost!:D

I know its weird to support 3 clubs 16 years ago

Barca still advances in the Copa Del Ray, so it's still like a win.

No doubt they are still the best side in football, and even though they let up no goals to the disciplined Man City defense Arsenal showed tenacity and creativity that could test even the back line of Barca. With Van Persie's form coming back and Walcott's pace they are a side to be reckoned with. Who's to say they cannot upset the best? If bilbao so can the gunners...
