Yes its annoying, but we dont have the quality to press Belgium back. Its usually the way a game is played when the weaker team scores first.

I was going to make a reply on Switzerland but then I noticed that its Swaziland. Its a common mistake, your country is so small and so unheard of that you dont even notice it... let alone your football.

It was only Belgium's first match in the world cup for 12 years I don't think it was unusual for them to struggle a bit. Judge them on their second and third games when they are a bit more accustomed to World Cup football.

Was Belgium actually trying to win the game? Up till the last 20 mins I thought someone paid them to give the game away. Vertonghen was absolute rubbish giving away a unnecessary penalty. The Belgium players didn't even have the brains to break on the wings, seeing that Algeria walled up with 10 defenders, especially when 8 Belgians tower over 6 feet.Hazard was the only player to try running at the opposition whilst the other 9 was having a Brazilian holiday strolling along, not even trying to keep pace n get into the box.I think the whole Belgian team should give up their professional players licences either that or the teams that have them on the payroll should sell the whole bunch. Wilmots the coach cant be much better, you think!

Fellaini > Hazard. Hazard plays for Belgium because he know he has no place in France. Ribery is far better than him. Joker player lol!

BLUE 11 years ago
Haha are you serious? hazard is far the best man in the team.. Look at that last counter, that perfectly sized pass from Hazard. Played a very good second half, with 4 people around him he has the ball..

Hazard is not better than Ribery, but he's young he may get betterand he's not the best player ub Belgium cause that would be Mertens all he needed was 20 minutes vs. Tunisia, and another 20 minutes vs. Algeria, I really think he's the best one out there.btw I'm Algerian

"Because of my presence in France for seven years, I feel 99% Belgian and 1% French, but the idea of French citizenship has never crossed my mind" said by Hazard 6 years ago when French offered him to play with them.

Belgium's victory is a matter of tactics + talents. To tackle the hard time, the coach had effectively modified the tactics and subsitute with more talented players. And it win........... But I must say the 23 players of Belgium team has reserved much more talents mre than those players last game. The coach can operate different combos to accomodate different situation. That's why we feel Belgium may fit into the darkest horse in this trophy, unlike other one-man team as Portugal & Brazil.

Belgium with Colombia and Bosnia are the black horses of this world cup and at least one of them will stay for long time in this world cup .

it was kompany. deBruyne made the sliding tackle and cleared away or it just went directly to hazard

Both of you are wrong. De Bruyne tackles Feghouli, and his tackle gets the ball to Vertonghen. It's Vertonghen who then passes the ball to Hazard.
