Ghana is going to beat Portugal. It's only a question of by how many goals. The US really needs to draw against Germany, because almost every scenario of a Ghana win and USA loss will mean Ghana advances on goal differential.

Ummm I think you actually need to go back and REWATCH ghana vs usa, usa got lucky to get all 3 points in that match and again were lucky they didn't concede a pen in this match 5 mins yeah, stoppages and all add up time regardless of what you think add on time is given for what, if anything usa are loved by FIFA....

Hey, give the man a break, he's been injured and has to deal with the pressure of leading an average squad and they are playing against relatively good teams... Now, take a look at Argentina's group, they have a brilliant squad but looks VERY average against the teams in their group... If we were to replace Portugal with Argentina in this group, Argentina would probably be packing their shit... Messi is good, but I need to see him against a top flight team...

So America deserved the win since when folks? Re-watch the game we had allot more of shots and so forth their first goal was lucky due to the fact that we done poor defending, when in fact we should of cleared it better, if you wan't to be lucky go right ahead but don't expect it every bloody game just like against Ghana the US were lucky to come out with a win as it should of stayed a draw. In terms of everyone that is hating on Ronaldo look at his knee maybe that will show you why he isn't playing no where near how he should be playing but yesterday he was showing class. At the end of the day I'm disappointed we didn't win and seems like watching world cup 2002 all over again ffs.

if portugal was defending poorly, then it wasn't lucky. it was just that the attack was better than the defence, which is how most goals are scored (conventionally, anyways). portugal may have had more shots, but USA were defending really well. they didn't just hold their own, they gave portugal some trouble.but I'm not defending the people who're saying that USA deserved it. I think both sides could have won, so the draw is a great result from this fantastic game.
